Report, edit, etc...Posted by Falkoner on 2006-11-02 at 22:35:01
So what gliches are still left after the latest patch? I know, I've seen creepcolony.com but they are completely out of date, so, anyone got any? screen shots would be cool too cool1.gif

ADDITION:
Okay, I got a few of em, here they go:

Starting units in air
Building units in air, simply hit the hotkey for lift 'L' then quickly hit the unit you want to start building in the air's hotkey. Note that it only starts building it.

Finishing units in air
Now actually finishing units in air, hit the hotkey for lift, 'L' then quickly hit the unit's hotkey, then once you have it started, land, and before you land hold shift and click to another place.

Stacked Zerg Burrowing Units!!!
Okay, in the pic, the units on the left are not stacked, units on the right are, notice the large circles for burrowed yet stacked units. Okay, so you burrow any unit and hotkey it '1' then select the units you want stacked and quickly hit ctrl1 u 1 u 1, remember, only select the units you want stacked, not the other burrowed unit! When it works your stacking units should have very large circles and be burrowed, like the bottom right in the pic, when they look like that select them and just right click anywhere, do not tell them to unburrow.
Note:Burrowing will unstack units. Additional note: For units that twitch, like hydras, to get all of them to get stacked at once, burrow them before you hit ctrl1 u 1 u 1 and unburrow them and quickly hit ctrl1 u 1 u 1 before they start twitching around.

Permenantly Invisable Zerg
Get an arbiter and a burrowing zerg unit, burrow the zerg unit and start patrolling the arbiter so it's cloak covers and uncovers the burrowed unit. Right when the arbiter starts covering the unit with it's cloak unburrow! If done perfectly you will have a permenantly invisable zerg unit.
Note:Burrowing will uncloak them.

Crushing Interceptors
Using a lift-off able building lift off, then land right when the interceptors are above you, if they are above you when your land finishes they will be crushed. You can also do this to seige tanks if they seige under a building while it's landing and with burrowed units if they burrow under it right when it is landing.
Note:In the pic an interceptor is about to be crushed, sorry but it was hard to time it...

Crushing Tanks
In this pic the building is landing and the tank is about to seige

Running through units with workers
Gather some minerals, then quickly click on the other side of the unitd and hit the hotkey for return minerals. Your unit should go through any normal units to get to where you right click, you can also go through units by mining minerals on the other side of them.
Note: If you have a CC Nexus or Hatchery this won't work, although you can return minerals to a C/N/H through units if it is on the other side.

Probe Mineral Jumping
I know... But I'm running out of ideas! Simply make a building with a probe while next to some minerals so the building forces you to 'jump' over them.

SCV Mineral Jumping
Basically the same as probe, except you wait until your scv goes above the minerals or vespane guisers then you stop building and click quickly to tell him where to go.

There ya go, also I learned that the old trick of mining minerals from a distance using recall does not work anymore either.

That is not a glitch. It is needed so they don't block eachother while harvesting, and make the harvesting faster. Also, it makes them even better targets for AOE damage. wink.gif

SC has some color bugs. I also have this color bug, but thank God I have it only in the menu and lobby.

you can also crush things with scv's that are building, so if a scv is about to move over a siege tank while its sieging it will blow up.
