Jungle, has nice doodads and nice terrain can be made from it. Since cant have to votes sigh, i would picked Jungle & Ice. anywoot gg jungle ^_^

I think it depends on the setting of your RPG. If its in the desert of course desert an thats what i picked i just like the way it works and its only terrian besides ice that has the abandoned like terran building doodads.

Yeah, that does add to the effects, but i do like Twilight Terrain because it is so different, can if you work it correctly and really use the darkness it can create you RPG can be so different to what most of them look like.

Installation is the best terrain, the one's I said were the one's I think would be best for a long RPG... Installation is for something less... but... more?

Long games on Installation are not really possible, Jungle just has a bit of everything, Ice seems to be too friendly, Desert isn't used enough, Badlands is lacking, Ash is just terrible, and twilight is just dark and lacks stuff. Space, is just very different.

Jungle - When I attempt to make RPG's I usually have it in jungle.
But there isn't really best terrain. It all depends on the kind of map you're making.

It really depends.
If your RPG is like a city modern day then Bandlands
if its anceint city or swords and arrows Jungle
If your a bunch of bandits or something desert
if your sceintests who created some moster killing everyone coughresidentevilcough then instalastion
I have no favorite cause i made maps in all places but Space platform that place is just horrible

Actually that's not true, my map Aliens: Harvest can take up to around 90 minutes if you've never played before, I remember Bolt found everything himself and it took about that long, it wasn't even done then.

Jungle - temple and high temple too. The bridges and ruins make for better extended terrain as well.

Jungle- Agreed with Vinexus, Temple terrain owns and the bridges are good. Plus it's got the nice natural terrains: Grass, dirt, water, etc
Ice- I just like snow, I'm a cold person
Twilight- It's nice and dark. And has some weird kinda sci-fi-mystical doodads

You have to say though, some parts of Ice, like the grass, without trees looks really fake, though it makes Protoss look soo cool!
