I have not seen most of these, only some in amungst themselves, but not of every one. I havent seen Tokyo Drift but I am planning on it, I voted for The fast and the Furious.

How could you not list Star Wars? That's my favorite trilogy (ep's 4-6).

I would have but star wars is not a trilogy. A trilogy is only three movies in the seris.

Yet another way in which the original movies has had their glory stripped away by the prequels.

Out of all the ones listed there, I'd have to say Lord of the Rings. The 1st Matrix was good, but the sequels were horrible...

I hated the fast and furious 1 and 2, but for some strange reason, I was actually shocked with the 3rd one. It was actually a whole step up from the 1st and 2nd ones. Mainly because the main character in the tokyo drift was the lil bad ass kid in sling blade.

Indiana Jones trilogy.

I dont know i think i liked the 1st one more then the 2nd or the 3rd. I lik eit because of the bad ass vin desial. I dont really like the 2nd cuz i dont like the main charictor in it. I liked the third one more beacause its about drifting and that is sweet, and vin desial is in the end. I like all the cars in all three of the movies. My favorite was Vin desials dads car in the first one. I dont remmeber what it was called.

Lord of the Rings wins hands down. But then, it wasn't exactly a trilogy, since they knew they were making three of them from the very start.

Does Saw count as a trilogy since there will be a fourth one?

Erm...there were 3 SW movies and they were all released at different times, how could this not be a trilogy? theres the old trilogy and the new trilogy, except the new one doesn't count. It sucked too bad.

I think that this was more of a poll on what movies you like that have sequels, maybe not just 3 movies in them. So, instead of asking why something's are up there and some things arent. Just pick one on the poll. If you dont find one, just choose other and say which other that is!

Based on that list, LotR wins.
X-Men I loved the first two (mostly due to Bryan Singer) but could not stand the third one (mostly due to Brett Ratner).
Jurassic Park I absolutely loved the first one. The second had major flaws. The third was fun, but doesn't top the first.
The Matrix Again, the first was excellent. Had they written and filmed "Reloaded" and "Revolutions" independently, it may have been better. But no, they blew.
Austin Powers All three were great, but my major issue with Austin Powers (which is mostly because I'm a film nerd) is that so much of the jokes were taken from Casino Royale.
Mission Impossible Ironically I liked the third more than the first and second.
Blade The first was a thing of beauty. I don't even want to waste time talking about 2 and 3.
Saw I thought the first was excellent, with a fresh horror idea. And though I liked the second and third, they just seem to be repeating the same premise over and over again.
Terminator The first was great. The second was fun.
The Fast and the Furious ...

As far as other trilogies go, the Godfather was amazing. The Die Hard trilogy was also pretty fun, though the second wasn't very good. And of course there's Star Wars.

If this is the case, then Indiana Jones should be removed since they are planning a fourth as well. Same goes for Austin Powers and Jurassic Park.

Actually Star Wars can be divided into two trilogies. you could've had Star Wars Original, and Star Wars Prequels. Unbelievealbly I would have chosen the Star Wars prequels but 2nd to that would be the LOTR trilogy. I mean it was better than the book in my opinion.

Its Gimli.

Random Fun Fact: The actor who plays Gimli (Jonathan Rhys Davies) is over 6 feet tall. He was the tallest cast member out of everyone who worked on the Lord of the Rings series. Ironic, eh?
