It's back!
And still has more changes than you can shake a stick at!
Feedback wanted.

Mod Designed for: StarCraft Brood War version 1.14 (That means you don't have to downgrade.)

Current Version: 0.16!
Current Betas:
-0.16 Beta 4 (A taste of the new battlecruiser attacking.)
-0.16 Beta 5 (NEW TITLE SCREEN!)

Skipped Versions:
-0.13 (Superstition time! Walk under a ladder! Pick up a tails-up penny! Break a mirror! Whee!)

[b]A List of Changes: (Mighta forgotten something though. :\)

I'd better have not forgotten something.

ANNOYING GLITCHES, BUGS, AND OTHER PROBLEMS:
-Missle turret would crash if I left the original iscripting stuff that made it drop debris down when killed.

MISC/MULTIPLE RACES RACES:
-Text changes on certain things (like Schezar's autocannons being named Rotary Ubercannons)
(specifics later)
-Added "descriptions" for buildables.
EXAMPLE:
"Build Marine"
"Basic Gunner"
"45 [Minerals Icon]"
-Cursor changed. On some terrain types like ashworld, the colors end up changing a teensy bit.
-Various sounds changed. Namely title music, gollie autocannons, medic flashbang hitting, menu sounds, ghost firing sound, and others.
-Spell energy usages changed.
-Some spells/abilities can be aimed at terrain instead of needing a unit target.
-Some spells/abilities are more damaging or now cause damage.
-Static defense is upgradable.
-Supply, cost, and time to build have been changed. Now you get psychotic bloodbaths full of pure firepower. Recommended default mineral count for maps being created for this mod is 2000 minerals.
-New beacon graphics.
-New command icons. Stop signs to stick figures.
-Cheat Enabled/Disabled message changed
-Did I mention resources are destructable? (It takes a DAMN lot of firepower, since the fields/geysers have 9999+ hp)
-Tips are changed
-Minerals now have portraits
-Other text has been changed
-The OPEN slot now is a different color compared to people's names.
-[Planned] Corpses stick around longer.
-JUST ABOUT EVERY unit has shields enabled now (but most have it at 0). This is mainly for mapping purposes.

TERRAN:
-Irradiate is more powerful (or if I messed up, super weak).
-New marine attack sound.
-SCV welder attacks faster.
-Both marines fire much faster now.
-Tanks in normal mobile mode now shoot rockets.
-Ghost uses new combine soldier sounds and is stronger.
-Terran buildings under construction graphic changed.
-Engineering bay now has animated flashing lights of various colors. (That means that while something is upgraded at an engi bay, the lights flash different colors.)
-Missle Turrets splash ground but don't target it. Gemini missle graphics are used for the missles themselves. (Double missle packs, one on each side, but the missle comes from the middle. Huh?)
-Bunkers now have shields and can hold 6 units.
-Vulture grenades have a small amount of splash.
-Ghosts fire faster. And do normal damage.
-Lockdown is now an anti-tank rocket launcher, (100 damage, +50 per upgrade) and has a new sound. Not the annoying lockdown one.
-Nuke dot changed. biggrin.gif
-Nuke has a larger "100% damage" radius. Max splash area is still the same.
-Siege tank in tank mode shoots a pair of rockets.
-Siege tank in siege mode now shoots missles at longer ranges. It used to be HELLISHLY far, but I cut it down. Be thankful Protoss and Zerg fans.
-Duke's tank in siege mode outranges normal tank.
-Tanks spits rockets in siege mode real fast. However, the crappy lock-on system of the rockets makes the rocket itself constantly be off target. However, the devastating power of the rocket's payload and its ease of use keeps it in service.
-Goliaths now have quickly firing autocannons that make strider (HL2) sounds.
-Valkyrie now attacks ground.
-Wraith uses pulse laser and halo rocket graphics, and had its thing sticking out from the bottom cut off. (Didn't cut it off wireframe, any free programs to do that with?)
-Tom Kazansky is now a rocket gunship- err, rocketship.
-The EVIL Self insertion. (See: GenericSS)
-Battlecruiser is now the (kinda) ultimate weapon, especially its Yamato gun. Speaking of the Yamato gun, it now has new sounds and does 1000+ damage. With splash. And is aimable at terrain. Its normal weapons fire in large salvos, which tend to ruin your hydralisk armies quite nicely.
-Some unit ranks are changed.
-Stukov (Read: GenericSS) now has different speech. Duke tank speech is replaced, and Norad II now uses Duke tank speech.
-Duran (normal) is now SnakesSon0.
-Schezar is now Toa1337 (or was it 5555?). Enjoy the Rotary Ubercannons and Hellscream Missles. (Note: Toa is just another friend of mine, and goes to SEN. I don't think he's using Toa5555 or Toa1337 as a screenname anymore.)
-Nuclear Missle does 5000 damage, and 3000 more if you upgrade marine range. wink.gif
-Psycho battlecruiser speech.
-Goliaths shoot once, according to the sound.
-According to my numbering, I'm not even 25% done with this mod yet.
-Missle turret explodes even more now. It leaves no debris, and I bet all the infinite amount of missles in it destroyed any debris that would have been created.
-Battlecruisers, upon death, explode a few more times before finally being wiped from existance. When the extra explosions occur are slightly randomized (difference is about 5 ticks).
-Valkyries explode a little bit more upon death, thanks to all the rockets stored up in there.
-[Planned] Yet more changes to Terran.

PROTOSS:
-Probes attack faster(?)
-Dragoons shoot missles. Fenix 'goon shoots spreads of missles.
-Normal templars now have an attack.
-Psi storm roxxorz. biggrin.gif
-Interceptors fire missles. Quite a nice bomber, hmm?
-Nexus and pylons look different now. Nexus change is subtle but pylon change is quickly seen. I fixed the shadow this time, too. wink.gif
-Protoss buildings (except for photon cannon and shield battery) don't need to be within pylon range.
-Tassadar now uses his templar form voice even in his carrier. Hmm, what to do with the sounds?
-Aldaris is now named "George W. Bush?"
-Fenix (zealot) now uses "LIGHTSABERS!!".
-Fenix (dragoon) now uses "Matter Disrupters".
-Dark Templar (hero versions) now use "Warp Slicers"
-Corsair fires at ground.
-DT slashing sound is different.
-[Planned] More changes to Protoss.

ZERG:
-Hunter Killer shoots spores.
-Defilers (including hero) now use their previously unused attack.
-Drones attack faster.
-Mutalisks now use Bio-Blades. Kukulza now uses Bio-Shuriken. Shing shing shing. New richochet sound included.
-Torrasque attacks faster.
-[Planned] MORE changes to the Ugly Monster Squad- I mean, Zerg.

So we have a .dat and iscript mod. As much as they usually don't impress me, it's good to see someone who's willing to give their full list of changes, and it's also good to see that it's not just .dats. Too many people do that sort of thing.

Good Luck IDontChat. Although Dat and Iscript Mods aren't as impressive. I know for a fact you are extremly determined to this mod(One of my friends was a tester). Hopefully you will consider turning this into a Memgraft mod.

GenericSS's Mod 0.16beta5 has been uploaded. I just want people's opinions on how the new(er) title screen looks. For anyone who's curious, the game being shown on the new title screen is Freespace 2 with some enhancements.

I hope you do more additions to the other two races.. Because right now the battles are looking pretty 1 sided. Oh, and try not to make the Zerg suck like most mods do mad.gif

Other than that, everything is superb right now. I don't get why you're getting that whole "omg .dat modz suck" ordeal...

The mod's original goal was to make Terran insanely strong. It's moved up a bit to changing every race. Until Terran's done, don't expect any sudden spikes in Protoss/Zerg changes.

EDIT: And expect the Ugly Monster Squa- I mean, err, Zerg to be lower priority.
