The release date is finally here
http://www.blizzard.com/
http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/burningcrusade/

So any blizzard warcraft fans are going to love it but do you think this is going to cause more people to be "lifeless" and stuck to there computer screens?

No. As the Burning Crusade is going to be more casual player friendly.

Actually...I see alot of WoW geeks around my town, saying alot of geek slang in real life...About BC. I quit WoW personally because I don't feel like I should be a geek wearing glasses and long hair, not that I don't have long hair.

BC is cool though, since the Blood Elves are blonde tongue.gif

WoW only takes control of your life if you allow it to do so.

I got College to deal with.
I'm currently going out with a girl and hanging out with her pretty much always.
I got Track and Field practice, 2+ hours a day.
I can squeeze in 4+ hours of WoW every day if I wished to.

Only those people who can't prioritize will get that feeling that WoW is taking over.

Also, me and my dad will be getting WoW first thing it comes out, we are both in the same raiding guild.

Most people unfortuantley will become "mindless slaves" to WoW now. WoW, if you are addicted, is basicly a Lose-Lose Downward spiral. I now play WoW every so often just to say hi to friends or slowly get my character to 60.

I played WoW for an hour and got bored of it. People spend too much time on WoW, and some people even die of exhaustion from playing it (talk about an Uber nerd; yes, I spelled Uber wrong). But then again, Blizzard makes millions of dollars from WoW which will go into production of other games..so w/e (maybe they'll start up StarCraft: Ghost again).

I played wow for a while and... well I got bored.

NPCs kept telling me to fetch 5 wolf meats or kill 10 kobold workers (what did they ever do to you?). I was tired of being their tool, so yea I quit.

I see my friend play it. He's doing it to rank up, but he complains it's on how long you play, not on your skill.

And he just does it for the gear, something I would never do. That's why I'm not a Diablo 2 fan.

I am however involved in the wow card game... not because of wow, but because it compares to Magic and it's new.

You'll never see that situation ever happening again in wow.

Because one gigantic change they're doing really soon, is the honor system. Many of the people who slaved over wow for countless hours a week, did that because of the honor system. Luckily, the honor system is being 100% redone, and the new one is much better designed than the old one. Allowing you to get great pvp gear with out having to spend 40+ hours a week to get it.

I just saw a video of the tree form from WoW Radio...Actually they sent it to me via email since I was a very honorable veteran memebr of the site. The tree form was dancing to the tune of "Twist".

I can still see that WoW still has humor in it.
