The map size is actually 128, by 64 (although I was surprised it was even 128, because the mains are tiny.

First off, the minerals are slow. Don't put minerals 3 times further than they could be for max efficiency, stick to 1 and 2. Next, when you put mineral below the start location it mean players will have a hard time selecting newly created peons from all the busy mining ones. This isn't imbalance, it's just annoying. I would suggest moving the minerals to the vertical edge of the map, and the gas above or below (4 peons isn't that hard to select your new peon from) each main.

The map is very TvP imbalanced. First off, because there's a cliff right outside the Protoss' main ramp, Terran can just make camp up there and expand freely all over the map, while Protoss can't expand once. The paths are also all very narrow. Protoss needs room to flank the Terran, or his armies get dominated.

The positioning of everything seems mostly pretty good, you just need more room to work with. Also, I'm really not a fan of triangle expansions. They just look stupid to me. Maybe that's because I know how they were made.

I'll post this here even though I already posted it else where...

"Nice map dark, but it has many imbalances.

First of all, the map favors Terran to a ridiuclous amount.

Zerg's first expo is too far away giving them a big disadvantage versus any race.

Protoss on the other hand has no room to move units around, the middle needs to be completely redone, perhaps making it flat otherwise Terran would just kick a Protoss player all over. The map is really Terran imba... At any rate I would suggest the following:

Make a closer expo with or without gas and then keep the one out there allowing for 3 expos total.

Next, remove the middle area and make it easier for the Protoss to move an army around. Do what RoV does in making a large arena in the middle, not a cramped space where Terran can bottle neck and ledge a Protoss obliterating any goons and lots. A good addition might be to make the ledges bigger but that depends... At any rate...

Right now the map is so Terran dominant that even I'd feel guilty owning a Protoss on it -.-;

Gj! Keep up the good work."

Thanks for your comments happy.gif
For the imbalance.. it's probably because I'm a Terran user tongue.gif
I have another map to show but i've not finished it yet..

I will probably redone the middle and make the first expand closest to main.

[sub]I made a map alot like this one about a year ago, ended up having the same problem as you, no way to stop the terran push.

Nothing else to say that has not already been said.[/sub]

I've redone the middle section, added 3 expands and redone all mains and some expands.

The newest image is in the first post. wink.gif

Looks much better.

I would make the ramps that lead to that highground in the middle facing inward so you can move the highground even further back from the main.

Little picky things but, but thats how you perfect a map.
