I just thought I'd bring this up because staff forum business should remain staff forum business, or at least anonymous.
Well, it seems that Kellimus somehow got hold of my denunciation of him in one of the double accounts threads here, and immediately blocked and deleted me on MSN.
This isn't a great loss, though it was useful to have inside information and because being blocked annoys me in general.
The thing is that the information has to have come from another staff member - I really don't think we can have this - Kellimus was good at extracting information from people but revealing personally incriminating stuff is pretty poor. Not only is talking to non-staff about staff matters outside of forum topics dishonest (unless it's for the purpose of getting information out of them), it's one of the things which stirs up unrest on SEN. Too many leaks cause members to get unhappy because they or their friends are being discussed and judged.
I'd ask the person who told Kellimus about my judgement of him to make themselves known - I won't be angry with them, I just want to know why they did it.
Okay, I just did a test... I think it may have been fixed at some point (or I can't reproduce it). Resume suspicion.
I've stopped speaking to him altogether quite some time ago.
He also somehow found out that I ratted out his double account...
Does DEAD still have access to the staff forum? I know that some former staff members do.
When I chatted with him for the first time in at least a month the other day, the first thing he asked me was "So who do they think is me now?", and I told him mockdead (His hunger for information made me suspicious immediately). He didn't admit to anything, but I told him that some of the staff members and regular members suspect him, although I'm quite sure I didn't say any names. My memory ain't perfect, but I'm really sure I didn't say anything specific, other than mockdead. I talked to him briefly again yesterday, and he was complaining about how Syphon and Will are tattle-tells, but I don't know where he got it. He's probably said the same thing about me at some point. He hasn't been as open with me about his doings ever since I revealed nuclearrabbit's forum several months ago.
I really try to avoid getting on MSN these days (I only do it if someone begs me to), I'm strongly considering getting a new account and only letting the most trusted people know it. ;p
The only former staffer with access is BeeR_KeG. I've got a feeling that for some reason this forum may not necessarily be totally secure.
I was the one that told Kellimus who's who.

why they did it.
I hadn't realized it mattered so much. After getting re-banned, he contacted me on AIM ( I speak to him on occasion ) , and I told him.
Not to punish or talk bad about EzDay or anything, he's a great person in my book, so this will pretty much serve as experience for him.
Whatever happens in Staff forum stays in Staff forum.
The reason for this is because it's pretty much where we discuss what's happening behind what everyone sees. We've also have had some site information, such as security matters, that may become dangerous if released. Also we have our own little "conspiracy" theories as may seem and us talking bad about certain people which have been banned, will be banned or whatever it be. Also, most importantly, everything posted here was with the knowledge that only Staff and myself will read it. Imagine if one day you posted something and everyone else in the public started quoting it in all the other forums.

You mean that thing xMCx kept trying to do?
Anyway, what KeG said. The idea of the staff forum is that it's
private. You shouldn't be telling anyone sensitive information and the goings on back here. If that was supposed to happen, I'd have this forum public readable.
I just don't see the point of spending so much effort with persistent troublemakers who never go away. If someone goes through tons of effort (proxies and new accounts) just to stay around and mess around, they really need to just get a life. Nobody else should waste more time because of it.
But I guess I really don't have any good suggestions to solve this kind of problem. Ignore it long enough and maybe it'll go away.
Heh, although I don't talk to Kellimus much anymore, we usually talk about girls when we chat. Sometimes he talks about how much he hates Merrell and DEAD (ironic, cuz they used to be on the anti-elitism train together). Other than the SEN drama that I try to skip, he's really not that bad to talk to. I was deliberately trying to probe info out of him during his first banning and the nuclerrabbit death conspiracy. But after all that crap went away, I just didn't feel like being his "confidant" anymore. I've even told him "I don't want to know" a few times. ;p
But like I said, other than the SEN crap he rants about sometimes, he's not that bad to chat with.
Same. He was ok to talk to though he's now found out my 'betrayal,' which was just me saying that mockdead typed like him and he wasn't a good liar (I expect that's what got to him).
HA! I already knew. He actually did tell me he was Eternally Cursed and Zordon, and he thought it was hilarious how the "stupid admins" couldn't PROVE it and he loved to accuse them of accusing him of being a multi-accounter (I hope that made sense). But he told me on the condition I wouldn't tell anyone, and I do my very very best to keep my word, even if I don't like it. But meh, I wasn't staff then, so I didn't feel too compelled to tell on him. In all honesty though, I regretted promising him silence back then.
That's old news anyways.
I knew it (EternallyCursed) was him but I couldn't prove it - even after one of his friends said it was him and that they were fed up with his antics. They said they didn't want me to mention their name, so I just didn't say anything and EternallyCursed was banned anyway.
Why is he called Staredit.net Essence, by the way?
All the uber banned members are known as "staredit.net essense" prior to the addition of the "forbidden" group (although I saw Trinity had been uber banned recently, I wonder why he wasn't put in forbidden).

But his first "permanent" banning WAS for being here under Zordon until IP let him in again.
I don't believe he ever publicly admitted it. He always maintained he was being falsely accused of having other accounts, even if you guys knew better.
On the original problem: why is it ok to denounce a person in here but not in the public forums? Shouldn't the same rules apply?
Because it's less likely to start a flame war. Don't you remember the accusations that were flying around freely when Kellimus was here the first time?
I don't think that public mudslinging would do the site much good, although I see your point - it seems like we're going behind people's backs by discussing them in here. I dislike that as much as you do, but I don't think some people are mature enough to discuss things which should, in my opinion, be left up to the people running the site.
Mockdead/Kellimus was already stirring up trouble before he got banned - his contesting of decisions and constant accusations of flaming were starting to get people angry. When a member is so controversial as to be a walking flame war, then I think discussion of them should remain private.
Discussion on a member is fine. But you said "denounce" which is very different. :/
Hmm, by denounce I meant 'expose,' (though I actually did no such thing - I merely suggested that mockdead posted like Kellimus). What were you thinking of?
Cheeze, if you're talking about what I said, then I'm sorry I got carried away. Maybe I'm just letting off steam about Kellimus. But if it seems dishonest enough, then I'll stop.
I guess that's better. Maybe you British people have different meanings but:

I'm not talking about what you said, Doodan, but I guess if you're going to fix whatever is bad then cool.
