Disable Doodad State.
Trigger:
Player: Who ever owns beacon
Condition: What ever Conditions
Action: Disable doodad state for (beacon) own by player(x) at Location X
Now if the computer owns the beacons a player has to detect it while its being clocked so alls you do for this is put a detector around the becomes right when it clocks and once it's clocked remove the detector.

PROS HELP ME!
Damn straight.
Anyways, all you're doing (as SS_Dark-Marine states in triggers) is cloaking the beacons. The sideeffect is that the flashy stuff DOESNT cloak. Make sure you keep detectors away from there.
Ok i hope that works. i just had to black my comp so i have to dl every mp editor i used to have again...

oh well
Thx
Oh dear god please change your font. I can't really read what you're saying.
A cool trick would be to place different types of beacons over each other and cloak those, so you get two different types of glows.
I wish i could read what you just wrote, but thats how you do that, if you don't place the detector near it, your see the sprite in the picture, however it will not be there in the minimap.
???? U cant read ma text? What u mean?

Not that much better, make your text color darker, the website has a white background.
Ya, bright colors against nearly equally bright backgrounds don't work very well.
I mean, can you read the following sentence without highlighting it?
This is a sentence.
I made this map awhile ago when someone asked me how to do it... Good luck

(Can also use Scanner Sweeps as detector, btw)
Edit: For some reason, I get...

Cool Beacons.scm... So I just renamed it. But the file is actually an .SCM map. I don't know if it matters or not. Whatever.
It shouldn't... it will be repaired in the next version of this website. Zip the file if you have any trouble.
Oh, SEN has an Error about SCM files...Whatever will we do! Go crazy and take control? Nah...You can basically make all units sprite only if controlled by another player. But more interesting, what are they then? Sprites or Units.
Tested it, they are Units still, which is a shame, and now take up a Sprite.
