Day of Defeat is a WWII game. Please stop being wrong.
That wasn't my point. I said it doesn't need to be a World War II game. The goals and gameplay are not intrinsically tied to World War II in anyway. You could very easily create the same gameplay in any setting. This is in stark contrast to other World War II games. Don't respond if you aren't going to pay attention.

I'm sure you regret buying Dark Messiah because it probably plays like crap on your PC.
Like I said, I spend more money on PC gaming than I do on console gaming. That's because my computer kicks ass. I can run Dark Messiah on max settings with wonderful smoothness. Unfortunately Dark Messiah had one of the worst launches in the history of gaming. Dark Messiah 1.0 had more bugs than Windows 95. Ubisoft is really apalling. Oh you should have seen the tech support forums.

Okay, give us three ways that Oblivion is bad.
The game has the most advanced character creation system ever, despite being a single player game with first person view. That's just freaking retarded. I'd wager to say that the vast majority of playtime engaged by most people with this game was spent on the character creation screen. Unfortunately no matter how much time you spend, your character remains is ugly as crap.
The biggest problem I have with the game is the fact that enemies purportedly level with you. That's not really the case. The enemies level much, much faster than you. If you don't power level, by the time you hit level five enemies will kill you in one hit and you can't even do a single point of damage to them. I've had people tell me I'm full of crap about that and that the game is actually really easy. Well they can go freak themselves, I know what I played. Perhaps I got the only bad copy of Oblivion? The system is flawed and requires you to manually adjust how difficult the enemies are on the options screen. As if it weren't bad enough that you never feel like you're accomplishing anything because you never get any stronger than your enemies. Now you have to change the difficulty settings yourself, completely eradicating the expierence.
The game uses grass models that have something like 20 polygons. If you download a mod that decreases this value to something like 6, the game looks exactly the same but uses half the processing power. That's ridiculous. I really wonder who works at Bethesda. Mentally retarded crack babies?
I don't know, the human mind is flawed. People do things they hate and tell themselves they enjoyed them. Perhaps it doesn't really matter whether you're actually enjoying yourself or if you're just convincing yourself you are. But I'd wager that lying to yourself like that is a cause of people being so screwed up in the head.

However, RTS's and RPG's are strong with such notables as Age of Empires 3, Medieval II, and Supreme Commander and Oblivion, Assassin's Creed, and Dark Messiah, respectively for their genres.
Suggesting that those games represent the strength of their genres is such a joke that I really can't even respond to this in any serious way.

Felagund and Desperado, play nice. I don't want to deal with coming online everyday to see "Ban him plkz, hes a douche bag." in my inbox.
Then do us all a favor and quit.
