For the past 3 months, i've been warned by dtbk or whatever and minimoose for the dumbest of reasons. Now i am at 80% for flamming back to people flamming at me if you consider what i wrote a flame. They don't understand their own rules and are abusing their powers. They need to be controled for its getting out of hand. If i get warned to 100% today then kiss my ass goodbye on sen, but i will get on sc more.

as for the Mp topic, what i saw was a lot of arguements based around you. I'm not sure about other places, i don't see you post more. Yes the moderators and admins don't really think about their own rules they have set, but that is what happens in almost any form of authority. It happens in the government in many countries. It is a crime if somebody kills another person or persons' but the government are exempt from that in that they can capital punish that person.

So yes, what they are doing may be wrong in your eyes -- but hey, they have the authority, we do what they say, or face the consequences.

Obviously you don't do your job. You don't even read why i flammed in first place. The reason i flammed those 3 times was because I WAS FLAMMED IN FIRST PLACE and you don't bother to freaking look dtbk. You are a real piece of work.

Actually in the case of flame wars, both parties get warned despite the "he started it" excuse. So if he warned you and the others, then he is doing his job just fine.

I agree With DT in the sense that flaming is wrong no matter the reason. But also to Defend Arthas, the person whome initially flamed must be warned and stopped before he causes others to retaliate bringing them down with him.. Its a matter of quick thinking on the moderators part in order to prevent situations where someone who is innocent gets punished for flaming back, in the event that everything Arthas says is true.

In your example with murder of the man who killed the wife, the initial killer would never have been murdered if he was thrown in jail before the husband reacted.

This is a matter of being half off topic and not but Arthas can you link to the threads were you said the flame wars happend?

Did the other guy get warned too though?

Lets not try and base words with actions, we both know that if you verbally attack some1 and they verbally attack you back that the legal system is going to give them 20 years because of insults. Sticks and stones buddy. Suck it up I've had my whole life being attacked like this by people in school, I can deal with it, why cant you? Or any other admin for that matter. Anyway I'm not saying revoke the warns or change your rules because by all means I have no right to say that and the reason I'm still here is because of those rules. Just maybe try letting them slide abit more often since it doesnt really happen too much in the first place.

That is true. All though you say
"it doesn't matter who flamed who first, you flamed as well" all though that statement is true, the retaliation of the flame is usually a moderators, or admins failure to punish the offender so that the person being flamed doesn't have to. And seeing as we don't know when a member gets warned, maybe it would be better if you posted saying something like;

even if not all of those elements are met, it would be nice to actually know when justice has been done, just to give the person offended some peace of mind.

Arthas was recently warned and suspended for a few days. Good enough?
