pretty awsome. What is nice about the Wii is that it developed a controller that allows you to play games by simply moving the controller, and the controler is so sensetive to movement that u can play games like golf. mellow.gif

Woah, what is this Wii? And how can the controller be sensitive?

Seriously, everyone knows about the Wii. No need to explain how the controller works or anything else.

I want the new Zelda sad.gif

I can't decide whether to buy the outdated PS2 with the totally awesome FFXII or to buy an Uber cool Wii -_-;

Outdated PS2=$60 on eBay, FFXII=50, so that's $110. Wii=$250, so with enough saving, you could probably get both.

I was watching some GameSpot videos for the Wii (the We Got A Wii Marathon), and there seems to be nothing wrong with the Wii. How much are Wii games, anyways? Like.. $40 to $50?

Well..think about it this way: A game like golf involves either hard strikes or slow strikes that allow you to hit a ball to get to a certain distance.

I just beat Twilight Princess with about 48 hours clocked in. That includes getting all the heart pieces, all the items in the game, and completing the "Cave of Ordeals" which I think was 50 rooms of enemies. There were two absurdly epic sidequests though, one to collect 24 bugs and one to collect 60 Poe Souls. I got about half the bugs and 45 Poe souls. This was done without any kind of strategy guide, although there is a Fortune Teller in Hyrule Castle Town that shows you the locations of the Heart Pieces.

I liked the game, and the puzzles were refreshingly difficult at times. The enemies however were ridiculously easy, and the game's finale is practically ruined by how simple it is to win without getting hit once.

The graphics are not that great. There are GameCube games that look better than TP.

Gahahah I've played both. FFXII is awesome but I think the Twilight Princess should come first, it's orgasmic. But the Wii's are sold out anyways so go with PS2 first to have something to play while you wait for another shipment. Anyways there are great games for the PS2, such as Metal Gear Solid (You have to play this), Devil May Cry (You have to play this), Katamari Damacy (You have to play this), and Dark Cloud (You have to play this).

Rushing the game doesn't do anything except lower the quality of the experience. You are supposed to take time on these things to absorb it all in. But Congrats anyways for being so dedicated, or something. >_>

A huge Zelda fan? How could you swing the Wii remote if you were so huge? smile.gif

My brother said it's really fun (although one of the controls is clunky to use - that's disregarding the total Wii learning curve thing), and it looks beautiful. He said there's an obvious improvement graphically over Ocarina of Time, but he was really talking about the art design, which is always topnotch in Zelda games.

It looks enormously fun, using the sensitive controller with Zelda TP. I will probably get the Wii someday.

I finally got to play some Twilight Princess and I must say I'm impressed. (I'm just getting used to the Wii, so I'm not too far into the game yet, though...)

The controls feel a lot more natural than I had expected.

Umm, are you sure you got all of the items in the game? Cause theres a bunch of extra items you can get that arent really necessary.

Well anyways, ive played TP. So far its actually good, theres so many things to do. Ive been playing for about 50 hours and ive been doing the side quests and stuff. There are some good puzzles in there which are hard to figure out. The thing I like is that you can just stop doing the main quest and go on and do other stuff like fishing and bug collecting. AND in about a couple of hours into the game theres a cool horseback battle between you and a baddie.

ADDITION:
Just realized, you didnt get every item in the game. That would include the item you get for giving all of the bugs.

Yea, the time investment to acquire all those bugs and poes wasn't something I looked forward to. Even if I decided to use a strategy guide, it still would have taken forever.

To get all the bugs ? Well theres a mini game which gives you more arrows, did you get that ? I need 6 bugs and im not done yet. The poes are time consuming, id care less about them.

That mini-game is very easy, you just need the right tools from the dungeons. I already said exactly what I had at the end of the game. I did not get all the bugs or the poes, but I got everything else and completed the cave of ordeals.

The game is fun...you didnt mention your biggest fishing catch tho smile.gif how much time you spend on that? I think the enemies should be more difficult tho...Resident Evil 3 hard smile.gif
that game rocks.

I never did any fishing beyond what was required at the beginning of the game. There are no rewards for fishing, so I didn't bother.
