Are you guys gonna look forward to the Zune? I mean it is fairly cheap for its features, liek the Wii, for $249.

I might get it...IF I get mroe than $500 in Christmas money tongue.gif

I already got an iPod. But if I had to choose between Zune and iPod, I'd say Zune. It's cheaper and has to be better put together than my awful HP iPod.

Plus, it has brown tongue.gif

The Zune isn't compatible with any other music provider thingy though :/ If you used itunes before you won't be able to use any of your music.

I'm pretty sure there is a way to do put the iTunes music on it, not sure of it's legallity though.

Well, I'd say theyre about the same. The iPod has a far superior battery length and interface while the Zune has some other features such as wireless and radio.

Also, the price on the new iPod is $249 too since apparently none of you knew.

MP3 players are so pointless...
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Centreri on 2006-11-16 at 21:09:59
I have one use for them: Studying for a music appreciation test. That's when I wish I had one. I have to get up early, turn on computer, and listen with Winamp. If I had an MP3 player, I could study on the subway, as well as enjoy myself and read a book.

I'm fine with my iPod, I think I'll use that 250 to buy a Wii.

Also, Zune is a illegitimate childization of various olde dirty words. So sayeth Wikipedia.

I have acquired the capability to carry a conversation or amuse myself with my surroundings, saving me a couple hundred dollars in the process.

Not to mention my phone will play MP3s for me if I was ever desperate.

A bigger, clunkier version of the iPod that doesn't fit in your pocket... Awesome?

The fact that it plays WMVs though is pretty nice. If it played AVI it would be phenomenal. It probably doesn't though. Converting is a pain in the ass =@ A lot of the stuff in the stats seem like bullcrap/biased to me. It's good that it's manufactured in Japan (minimum wage laws?), but that's probably just thrown out there to look good. I don't think microsoft is completly innocent.

Thanks for sharing your opinion, lol? It's obviously not useless to anyone who purchases them.

It's not always possible, and not every MP3 player is a couple of hundred dollars :\

Believe it or not, people have been doing it for thousands and thousands of years.

People have been going without the entertainment for thousands of years. It's possible to survive without the entertainment, but it's really not possible to entertain yourself when you're out without things like an mp3 player.

They're just nice things to have..

I'm in the opposite situation.

I hate carrying a phone. I don't have a cell phone, and I'm against the whole concept of cell phones. If I want to talk to someone, I'll run to their house. However, I like singing while iRun, hence, iPod.

I never found that file.

I'm not planning on getting an Ipod or a Zune.. whatever that is.. but a small MP3 player to entertain and use to study would be nice. Then again, I can just get a new, better cell phone that can play games other than Bomberman and listen to music.

HP sucks. My sister's ipod broke before the warranty was over, but we weren't able to call HP before the warranty expired because we spent a long time trying to get to an iPod store, where THEY couldn't help us because it wasn't ipod, but HP. NEVER EVER EVER EVER Get an HP product if you can avoid it.

I feel no difference in my breathing whether I'm running or walking, unless I'm sprinting. And iOnly bring my iPod on long runs.

He must sing songs that have no lyrics happy.gif

That's what I did use my iPod for... It helped running to the Indiana Jones theme, and I do get lonely out there.

And hey, most MP3 players play music better than cell phones, you guys know..
