Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> [SOLVED] I hope this isn't impossible

I have a Science Facility on a patch of water. I don't want the player that owns it to be able to lift it off. I do want the player that owns it to be able to build ghosts.

Is there any way to get this pesky creature to stay still? Disabling it perhaps...

BTW, when I try setting the doodad state to disable, it crashes when I look at it (which is the normal result according to the tutorial database).

have you tried the disable-enable-enable trick(without looking at it, while this is gonig on)? i personally never bother with this stuff, its just a suggestions

just place a convert ops (detached) for the player on the water. If you need the facility for upgrades etc. all you gotta do is lift it off THEN disable it

look at that map, top right and ull see disabled buildings in transit

I'm reading that as "you can safely disable Terran Buildings while they're in transit"

ADDITION:
I lifted it off, then I disabled it.

Then I looked at that location and the game crashed.

Hmm, what happens if you remove the science facility while it is still attached then recreate it (or even remove it and not recreate it)?

About your edit.

It works with other terran buildings, but not with Science Facilities apparently.

ADDITION:
You don't need a science facility to build ghosts, you just need the attachment.

Blizzard lies yet again and wastes my time.
