Hey I was wondering if someone (preferably someone who knows what they're doing) would be a modding instructor for me, or maybe refer me to a lot of good tutorials, although I'd rather learn from a person because I seem to learn faster that way and my time is less abundant lately

Here's how I did it:
I started by doing that pinned tutorial. Simple.
Then, I decided I wanted to join MM, so I added Voyager on MSN, and asked him any questions I had. I eventually came up with a crappy mod

What I'm trying to say is that I have a lot less time on my hands these days and so I really want to learn fast, not trial and error learning. I want someone holding my hand telling me what to do step by step .

Voyager was a big help for me, but for very obscure and specific problems, DoA is helpful.

The point is I'm trying to learn this as quickly as possible. I guess I'll just learn the little bit I can in my free time.

im currently working on a modding tutorial that will show people how to use basically every aspect of modding so if I finish that soon which im hoping by friday that could help you out

it will be pretty hard not to it basically says stuff like

and it has pictures and its not totally useless since it shows you how to do like everything in it just very detailed

I can teach you some basic DAT mods. For example, giving an SCV a new weapons. And maybe some graphics.

You're only gonna learn fast if you're a fast learner by nature... Even then, it'll probably take quite a bit of time. It sure did for me.

If you need someone to explain you then you're not a fast learner(just not to tell another word).
However KK is right although I have never asked Voyager any questions, not because I don't have any but because he never replies!
DoA is helpfull, he provides the hardest solutions to a really easy problem, but glitchless.
Farty is kinda helpfull to and some people might say I'm helpfull too but that's just people
Anyways I have vacations right now so you can add me to msn anytime you want right now I'm pretty much always there

He replies... You have to be a little patient though. And only ask one question at a time, he tends to ignore all but the latest question

I'll answer questions, but I won't "hold your hand." If you've got questions on things, especially ones I've done, I'll answer them, but I'll admit that some things are over my head. Still, I consider myself pretty helpful.

As for the topic, if you need help with modding questions, I'll be glad to try to help, myself, if I can. I'm almost always on MSN and AIM.
Though, I have no experience with MemGraft, and I use ICE rather than IceCC.

Well I guess I'll accept that. As I can see no one really wants to be there to hold my hand which is understandable, I've got about four days of free time now in which I'll try to learn what I can .
