How can i make human controlled units unable to move completely.... i saw this in a map that i think was called "midnight defence", u made buildings that turn into regular ground units that do not move, but they still attack and since they are yours u can still upgrade them and stuff. any help?

You can use either one of two methods described in these tutorials (the latter one works with far more units).

The essentially cloaks a unit, and causes it to be immobile, but still able to attack.

hmmm, do u know of any other way? the one i saw involved no cloaking that i remember. let me check

ADDITION:
ya i just checked the map is called night defence and the units are never cloaked. any idea?

For grount units, put a location over water or any un-walkable terrain. Then constantly teleport your unit to that location when you dont want it to move

Conditions : Immobile Is 'SET'

Actions :
Teleport "UNITS' at 'WHEREVER' to 'LOCATION OVER WATER'
Preserve Trigger

The units can still attack, but they're hard to be attacked
