Okay, ever since my parents got divorced, my dad has been acting sort of strange, acting more like a teenager. I think it's weird for him to listen to music like Nickelback and Linkin Park and sometimes I've heard rap on.. when he used to listen to stuff like Queen and the Beetles... Does anybody else think it's sort of weird...?

That is good music, not crap.
My dad listens to everything I listen to. We share iTunes, and enjoy the same music. I also thank him for filling my iPod with Zeppelin. I don't thank him for downloading 3 gigabytes of music in one day.

My parents both loved music from the 60s and 70s, and since I grew up with it, I like it too.

I second that notion.
My mom is all over in her taste in music. She likes some pop kind of music, like that "Shake it like a Polaroid picture" one, dunno why. She also loves Death Cab for Cutie, KT tunstall, and other "indie" groups, as well as Dave Matthews Band (old stuff, she's not too fond of new stuff, old as in Under the Table...). She also likes old stuff like Rush and Men at Work. I generally tend to like her music, but I like Ska way more than she does, and she likes more 'older' stuff than I do. My dad shares the same taste as her.

My dad listens to pretty much anything that's old. Yeah... You won't find anything that goes beyond the '90s playing. Oddly enough, he also listens to chick music sometimes

I hate both their tastes in music, but since, id say 6 years ago, theve become your average old person who has no room for creativity or time for music. I cant go a day without my music.
