Classical, Orchestra, Film Scores, Techno.

I hate lyrics, and how I feel is suprisingly close to Green_Meklar's tastes. About exactly the same... Weird tongue.gif

Rap/Hip hop.
I pretty much lost my interest in Rock because most of them are about "My life is bad", or stuff like that. Heavy metal is too loud and gets annoying. Rap and Hip Hop has a good beat so I like it.

Mainly everything Except Rap and all the other ganster like music tongue.gif
But my favourite genre would be Jazz, I find it nice to my ear and It's so good to hear a wind instrument mixing with a clean guitar and a nice rythm.

Other of my favourites would be... classical, I find it relaxing

Classic Rock and 90's rock. By far my favorite stuff in the world.
Ac/Dc, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Nirvana, Guns N Roses, U2, Staind, Marcy Playground, [Old] Green Day....

Stairway to Heaven has to be one of my favorite songs of all time.

Baroque music is characterized by more emphasis on harmony (chorales were very baroque, and a specialty of Bach), contrasted with the lighter and more melodic Classical Era.

Fine, you can classify by Baroque (why did I say you can't? derr), but it's still not a genre. I generally prefer Mozart or Haydn to most of the Baroque period music except for Bach. And even in Bach, I don't like any of his pieces except the Fugues (D minor pieces are the best; In major pieces it starts to move from depressing to happy and it gets boring). I prefer Mozart and Bach to Beethoven, or at least to Beethoven's most popular pieces. They're just boring. Or maybe I listened to them for too long.

If someone tries to differentiate between the kinds of modern "music" that exist today, I withhold my right to call Baroque music a genre.
