Judging Criteria

Complexity
Was your mod easy to create? was It hard? It will be evaluated by the judges
This will be worth: 15 Points

Significance
How much is the gameplay changed?  Am I playing basic SC with one race?  Is it mind-blowingly-different?
This will be worth: 20 Points

Glitchness
How well does your mod run? Does it have Glitches?
This will be worth: 10 points

Originality
Is your mod a copy of another mod? This will be highly evaluated.
This will be worth: 30 points

Fun
Is Your mod fun? boring? another important thing highly evaluated.
This will be worth: 25 points

COMPLEXITY: 14/15
The mod is defenitely complex. There are three new techtrees that branch out and intertwine in a myriad of ways (culminating in a 4th techtree that requires units from all three races). The iscripting effects are great too, and it certainly took a lot of MemGrafting to do this.

SIGNIFICANCE: 20/20
A total conversion of all techtrees, iscripting effects and even custom graphics? And created in only a month? There's no question that Ex Machina deserves a 20 here.

GLITCHINESS: 9/10
A few minor glitches, but nothing crashing or effecting gameplay drastically. A very well put together mod.

ORIGINALITY: 28/30
The first time I played this mod I was in awe of the originality of the mod. The hybridization of races was a great idea, and there's also interesting things like Surveyors that I haven't seen before. There are a few units that got a 'meh' from me, but not everything can be fancy iscripting explosions. tongue.gif The mod is excellent, there are just a few units that don't seem up to par with the quality of the rest of the mod.

FUN: 22/25:
Gameplay is very fun, every time I've played it, I've had a great time. It does get a little annoying as Alpha Vector sometimes, but that certainly shouldn't turn you away from the mod. Pick this one up and try it, you won't be disappointed.

FINAL SCORE: 93/100
I love it. Go and play the mod and you'll see why I think so highly of it. There are explosions. It'll be fun, I promise. smile.gif

WOULD I RECOMMEND IT?
Defenitely.

WOULD I PLAY IT FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE?
Honestly, I don't think there's ANY mod that I'd play for the rest of my life. But is Ex Machina a mod I see myself playing for a long time? Yes.

Agamemnon is certainly a talented modder, and it shows in the effort put into this mod. If you haven't already, I also recommend checking out his beta for Atrea's Children, which looks like another great mod. Can't wait! biggrin.gif

Why thank you, Voy. I much appreciate the review. You're more liberal with your points than Corbo was...or maybe it's just the fact that 1.05 has a few bugs fixed tongue.gif

Quite complex. Good work.

Content - 19

Excellent use of everything. Good job.

Glitchiness - 7

Quite a few text errors, and other things make it seem unprofessional.

Originality - 29

Some very original ideas in this mod. Excellent work.

Fun - 22

Despite the fun I had exploring your immense tech trees, at times they seemed too complex and somewhat confusing.

Total - 92

Those were my old scores, but mind you, it was a much older version.
