As you may have seen from mods in production, im making a mod. However i tried my hand at making GRPs, and it really did not go well, so it is with a heavy sigh that i admit that it is one of the few things in the SC world i have no talent for.
So, SEN being the lovely place it is, gave me a smile. No, i dont always see a smiley where the planet is, but the drugs help.
Im bringing this topic back, because ive gotten back into my mod alot, and i still need some GRP artists to help me out, as said before any help will be greatly appreicated.
Anyway what id like:
---Terran:
-Units:
A marine that shoots from a side step stradle kind of stance.
A firebat thats less bulky and looks like it has 2 submachine guns instead of a flame thrower.
A ghost that looks like heavy infantry, using a heavy rifle.
The uberest tank ever. Seriously. The tank for this mod needs to look absolutely killer.
---Protoss
-Units:
An arbiter/scout mix. I made the arbiter very fighter-ish, so i want it to reflect that.
A carrier that fits the protoss colors, but looks like a runway with wings, some type of hub at the back end of it where the engines are.
A dragoon with a rotating cannon protruding from center, since the dragoon in this mod fires very rapidly.
Zealots that look smoother basicly, like an uncloaked dark templar. (Is an uncloaked DT possible for a GRP?)
Dark Templars that are kind of like the marines above, but they have a small ranged laser. Just a change in their stance and weapon would help.
-Buildings
The only protoss building i need to change is the photon cannon. All i really need is the current Photon cannon but instead of popping up, a long barreled cannon is placed on top, which it fires from.
---Zerg
-Units
Zerglings, i need them to look kind of like a zealot on all fours. Not picky about this one, and its not high on my list of things to make this a good mod.
Hydralisk, id like to see some blend of it with lurker legs, as i think that would look rather nice.
Lurkers, important on my to do list is the lurker. i need it to look basicly how it is, but i want it to be a bit further off the ground, supported by its long clawed legs, and have two main arms from which it attack comes.
-Buildings
Id like a replacement for the Extractor, Hatchery, and Hydralisk Den. Im not picky at all about these and ive seen a few people on the forums who are amazing with Zerg buildings, so i dont think this is a problem.
Anyone who helps me out on this will be given due credit. I dont expect to get all of this, as i know GRP modding is pretty difficult and not many people have the skills to do it. But i will be greatful for any contributions made.
