Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> [SOLVED] The Never Condition

Well, I've never used the never condition. Is there any real point to it? It sounds like an auximoron to me to have a condition that says never unless I'm missing something.

Running the never condition will cause the trigger to never run smile.gif

It was originally used before the comment action was added, so people used to use the "Display Text" trigger, to organize and keep track.

Nowadays, it's absolutely useless.

It's really only useful for debugging. If you want to disable a particular trigger, you don't have to change the conditions you already have - just add Never and then remove it later.

On a historical note, Blizzard used to use the Never condition along with DisplayText before the Comment action was created. You can see this in a lot of the maps in the scenario folder.

Bah..foiled.

yea, never is basically just to fix some random bugs that might happen, like say you can make your map and there might be a trigger that might do something you dont want it to do so you make 1 with a newver condtion so it doesnt even try and do it.
