i did this in a joke map to make a clock out of an observer.
what you do is order it, and then move it. the unit will face the target direction, as that is the first step to movement, and when you move it it will retain its orientation and remain in place.
lol thats pritty cool ... my sympathies to you paella
Bolt, let me finish my new avatar. It's based on that map.
(Hint: Use a goliath in bolt's map)
couldnt u just do junkyard dog and move to location, for random movements in one spot?
That wasn't random movements, that was bolt's map.
but the gols movements look random :\
Nontheless it's fun to look at...
(I GAVE HIM THE IDEA FOR THE AVATAR)

It was really funny in the map at first... but now it isn't... WHY WHY!!!1
its kinda funny :\ the gol is stupid -.-
Who cares what way a unit is facing?

Who cares what way a unit is facing?
It can be really important in some maps.
Yeah, movie maps and such.
first off, it wasnt a race and no sympathies needed, but gj bolt that is a good system
you could also use which way a unit is facing when you are doin things like a pokemon rpg where the npcs look at u as u move past them
This isn't a concept, moved to assistance.
omg you mean I could have posted this when I looked at the part of tuxedo's trailer saying why didn't you make the units face a certain direction.
Just to mention, but junkyard dog with move to location wouldn't work.
The unit would just stay in place at the location, and if you weren't using hyper triggers, would move off the location a little then move back on.
