Anyone else using mac seem to find that they get dropped continually? For some reason (from my mac) I get dropped every 30 min or so were as on a pc (on the same network) I never get dropped. Truble is now the pc is not a pc, it is linux.... 
I have found that thisis mainly since the 1.13 patch... anyone can confirm that?

Well, I have a mac and some of the maps I've made are incompatible with them but all that happens is I got disconnected, not crashed really. I'd assume at this point in sc's history blizzard really doesnt care that much.

Also just to note. It is never on one map, it is usually halfway through a map, simple, complex, it doesn't seem to matter. Always when I am going really well.

Well, maybe your just unlucky. SC never really crashes for me on my mac unless sprites etc. are messed up but that also crashes pcs. Some things such as speed increase, eud's etc. make u disconnect.

Blizzard does not care about macs. If this continues theyll make 1.14b, and no modder in his right mind wants that. Shush you mac users it is time for the modders to shine! Keke! ^_^

Well, they've never cared about mac users before, so why should they start now?
I don't have a mac, but many of my friends have them. I remember that patching is a pain in the butt with macs, since you need to move maps around...Blizzard doesn't really care about mac users, sicne there are so few of them.

Um, the patching is relitivy easy... the moving maps around is only when you want to do it manually....

Which maps crash you?
I know how to crash a windows users in a game by just building a unit.
UnholyUrine has a windows computer and it crashes like every 30 minutes. He gets pissed off alot because of it. What kind of mac are you using? I use Mac os 9 and it crashes once in a while. Does it give an error number? if it is Error #1-3: you need to select the application "Starcraft" press command+I and give it more memory, then restart your computer. How many other applications do you have loaded at same time?
I load sc 2 times, and 1 drops if I have the other in full screen mode. I can play myself like nuke did, damn i miss him.
I'm actually looking forward to the next patch. Blizzard fixed quite a few mac bugs with this patch. We no longer crash if we cancel the login. We don't crash with some certain maps. The next patch I really think will give a lot more stuff to us. Blizzard knows they lost quite a few players from the last patch. Ladder is gone, and lapping in forces just pissed people right off. But the new colors gives a little bit of more stuff to map makers.
Well good luck with sc then. If it continues to happen, just use your pc.

I am using mac osx and mac os9.... the windows computer is out of limits now due to it haveing fedora running on it now.... I found that this happens on any map... annoying hey
Glad to see another mac user drawn into starcraft
Usually when I am using starcraft I have not much open... Just desktop manager and a cople of other non memory using tasks, yes they have fixed a lot of mac starcraft glitches, but there are still quite a lot to go...
