Recently I've noticed that when I last looked at my posts, a long time ago, they were at about 200, recently, I noticed that my posts are still at about that level, and I've been posting a lot. I've had no abusive content etc. and my warn log is clean. I decided to count my posts and they came up to 363 posts. I've noticed that when they hit 200, they just go back down to 195.

What's going on?

I don't think it's preview, since I rarely preview my posts, I read it in the box instead. Hmm, didn't add this post to my post count.

Next post is 200.

That post is too short to add to your commulative posts. It needs to be roughly one and a half lines when you post to get another commulative post.

I don't think you've been double posting, but that also takes away from posts. Plus, check your warn log to see if you were deducted any posts for spamming or flaming or something like that.

I said my warn log is empty, and much of the time I make very large posts. These ones just aren't very large because there's not much too say. That wouldn't exactly make sense though, if you make a small post it doesn't add to your post count? And I have also made a lot of posts since that last time I checked.

you lose posts every once in awhile... its perfectly normal. you're just posting as much as you're losing. the only real time for concern is when you lose 30-50+ in one day.

Ok... I understand, but then how would my posts stay the same over like a month. I mean, I've made plenty of large posts since then.

Posts in non-mineral forums and posts below the minimum character requirement will show up in a list of total posts and a *% of this user's posts calculation, but do not add toward Cumulative Posts.

Posts deleted or edited to below the minimum character count will result in post count reduction, and will not be displayed in your warn log.

For the record, the Preview Post bug is FIXED (I checked). Try it again if you don't believe me.
