LPREmix>>lpremix.ca.tt

Here is a preview of some compositions I made over the summer.

On the site you will find:
-Originals, which is my own (guess what) original music, are split into 5 opus numbers according to instrumentation, style, etc.
-Remixes (I currently have two completed) are simply rearrangements.
-Also I have some 'samples' of unfinished works
-Files offered in .MID and .PDF (mostly...I'm fixing this up part, so some of the PDF links may not work)
-Sibelius 4 files can also be provided if you want them smile.gif

(Scroll down, wait, and hit download)
Hana no Hime *updated MP3 version*
-This was a more recent one I made (this is actually just an MP3 version of a plain MIDI). I don't have any sound samples, so there's no way for me to increase the quality of this stuff.

Dragonfly *updated MP3 version*
-This one's incomplete. It's subtitled 'an orchestral dance', so I was going for like a modern festival-ish dance feel to it. I'm almost done with it...just gotta tweak instrumentation and add some sparkle...

Which program do you use to record and mix?

MIDI files... I'm gonna download them and mess around with them. shifty.gif

Anyways, I can't give feedback until I get home and listen, so until then...

I wish I could get plucked strings.
Although Garageband's flute section is better.
It's near impossible to find a good electronic string ensemble.

Hana no Hime - Good overall, but I felt like the chords drowned out some of the peculiarities in the song that might have improved it in my eyes. Still it was pretty dang good for a midi.

Dragonfly - Very good boss song, or just a fight song in general. Midi makes it sound like a Super Nintendo game though. Although halfway through the song, it changed to something different. I wouldn't classify as it a boss song, although it conveyed fast motion. The last part of it sounded kinda like Zelda games, but it was cool.

Hmmm. Well, if you have Fruity Loops (Or, now known as FL Studio), you can take the scores from .MIDI songs, and replace them with synthesizers/instruments/samples that you create in the program and stuff. Though since you have a .mp3 mixer I guess that negates my suggestion.
