So I've been seeing a lot of bots recently and this includes a lot of people here. Do you think botting is right?

Yes, as a matter of fact. I have a bot, I find them very usefull for your own channel and if you're AFK and some commands are pretty cool also.

i think botting is right except maybe blizz might be pissed cuz of how ppl get all those cdkeys :\

Battle.net said botting was ok unless you're spamming in public channels, or using the bot as an advantage in a game rather then a channel. For example: Diablo 2 magic finding bots. Moderation bots always have and always will be "right".

Though now they are not supported and you need a CD-Key for each one of them! Good old Hacking Community provide those, is that right?

I think bots are okay for clans and stuff, but it's annoying to find all these bots everywhere. It's just weird. In general, they're okay, as long as they don't spam.

Starcraft Cd keys are ridiculously easy to guess, I just typed random numbers like:
5684 34698 2378 and in 15 minutes I got at least 3 working cd keys, it's not funny.

Well, this is obvious.
As long as they're not doing anything 'wrong', they're right.
If they do anything 'wrong', they're 'wrong' in that case
Things I consider right:
Using them for 'hotkeys', trivia, chatting, jokes, small auto-greetings that give useful information an are as small as is practical
Things I consider wrong:
Mass spamming, having auto-greetings that don't give much or any useful and applicable to the channel information and are large, trivia in places where it's unwanted
