hello everyone, Now that I think about , this mod's news been really long
i've been announce that news in about year ago, which updates of this mod
in mid course of the mod producing , I've been got to so many various things about 3 months
i've been so busy this because that I haven't finish produce this mod yet
even it has near of most done

in mid about 3 months for many various things,
i've been work at all night and i had stay away from work for quite long days
it's because I have been under a lot of stress on many of work at that times.
and i've been have practice SC play for SC semi-pro league in korea about 1 month

that is why it was delayed producing and it has goes with a leisurely pace
but i made decide for get down to produce Mod

So i repost news of my mod (Three Kingdoms MOD)

Some of you know about Three Kingdoms MOD but some couldn't know about this mod

So i would report from the abovo


StarCraft Total Conversion - Three Kingdoms MOD

What is the TK-MOD ?

Three kindom mod was based on Romance Chinese Three kingdoms

this mod will drive yours into fantasy which StarCraft replaced to Chinese of an ancient age

The resources of contents maded by using resources from other games

Basicly many of models edited from WarCraft3 models to Chinese unit models which units of an ancient age
and many of paint and illustration used from Game title which called koei's Romance of Three kingdoms

i will produce this mod for masterpiece of SC MOD which maded graphics best ever in SC MODs
so i will not produce roughly

Current Progressed possesion is Graphics - 70% / Game Data ( dat file and table of text ) - 20% / Animation Script - 60 %
Memory patch (Buttons and tech tree) - 10 % / Sound - anything not yet

Anyways , i contented that current of graphic quality approximately

Glad to see that this is back. All of the old mod-in-production topics have died out (This one, Last Stand, etc.) It looks even better than before. That is one heck of a lot of screenshots, BTW...

As for those screenshots which unable to see a Thumbnail image
they were uploaded everything at once to ImageShake Server

So some of images were unabled to make Thumbnail from host server

but if u wanna see picture, just do click on there then they comes page

generally it takes about 2~3days per unit (if do only that , about 7hours )
but that is different according to detail of unit
and if need delicated animations or model and texture
that could be take more than that times

i don't think so, becuzz it's not producing now based on Blizzard game title
it's diffferent concept and base on different story from Starcraft or WarCraft and Diablo which any Blizzard game title

and it isn't used WarCraft3 model file as it untouched
most used models are edited and modified as far as different from original

i look out other companies which used resouces of other games rather than Blizzard

But most the reason what i don't think so that is i live in korea
here is different that the application of a law and the limit of application either
So That will not apply to all cases as same like USA and EU and other contry

and i belive that Blizzard will not make trouble with korean in korea
they rather will want to social issue of SC community in korea
and they would rather happy to korean pplz use their games more widely
for they use StarCraft to play This MOD

i belive it will make issue and attract public attention in korea
and if they would play it widely probably Blizzard would impressed by Community of korean SC MOD gamers

Most Korean Community has discontented with Games Service of Blizzard
and if have complain, they put a blame talk in circulation

As most ugyus know, Currently StarCraft most played by korean and sell well even now and other games either
(it still selled about 30,000~40,000 copies in every month )

they probably don't want to lose their best customer and community of Blizzard games

However i will notice that when i make the contents and
it will goes with take heed of an copyright issue

BTW, if you want to change the mineral, gas, supply, control, and psi pictures at the top of the screen, my converter is probably the only one that supports the format for those at the moment.

yes those come out from Chinese Dragon
those are replaced graphic as like that from Protoss interceptor

but that isn't maded a final decision as like that idea
Also that is old picture which i had creat for test how they looks in game

currently the picture of Chinese Dragon different from that design
and i would make that Dragon to different concept and weapon type

if u have good idea of Chinese Dragon, feel free to say
i will try refer to idea for Chinese Dragon design.. if ur idea is pretty good

This might sound frightening, but you wanna take out all the air units in the game?
It makes it more ancient, and realistic to the time this is occuring. It will be interesting to not have air, being the first mod to ever do so.

no i would keep The air unit
that's my one of complicated issue
as u said, there wasn't Air Unit and AirCraft in ancient age

i tried take out the air unit but there is no move-able Water in the game of Starcraft
it coudn't make the Water Ship

So if it can't use Air unit, then game play would be very awkward and tedious
i though that transportation unit on ground is no sence for game play
such as carriage or the wagon

that's why what i keep The Air unit in game

Heh... Give the guy a break. He's still getting the hang of english.

Anyways, if you really wanted to remove air units, you would have to play alot of your games on maps with not so complicated battlefields, mostly flat.

BUT, I don't think the idea of air units ruins it too much.

Anyways, the Chinese Dragon using clouds like a Carrier's interceptors... I don't know... I think it would be pretty cool if it just like breathed fire or something. Like, I don't know if it suits the carrier as a unit.

But then again I don't know if any unit that comes from ancient China would suit it very much... You could always try removing the carrier, and replacing it with a unit that doesn't use intercetpors... But I don't know if it's that big of a deal, I haven't seen the Chinese Dragon in gameplay yet.

EDIT: Another idea is that you could turn the interceptors into Fireballs that use a suicide attack.

that's not bad idea , but i think that need to play for examine the ballance of weapons

BTW, one of The reason why i had taken a shine to StarCraft is Carriea and interceptor
when i was saw the sight which huge number of interceptors were came out like college of bees
that has fascinated me uberwoot.gif

so i have plan for one unit atleast
that have a ability which call ghost or kind of mythic unit something like as necromancer of the game Diablo2
