Staredit Network -> Computers and Technical -> Internet keeps dying

So, starting today, my internet has been disconnecting and reconnecting (with about a min in between the d/c and r/c) every 4 minutes or so. I have a linksys router with Comcast Cable. It's done this before about a year ago and was like it for about 6 months, then it stopped, and now it's starting again. How do I fix it?

If it's wireless, check your signal... perhaps you're not getting a good one.

Call Comcast. I have them too, and I sometimes have connection problems. I called them up just last week, they sent a guy over the next day, and he fixed an external connection problem without my even being there. I'm extremely pleased with the results (Comcast works very well again).

Call them!

Yeah, if you can get the cable company to do something at no charge, that would probably be best.

If it still doesn't work, there is the possibility that something is wrong with either the cable modem or your router.

Do you have a cable booster? If so, remove it.

If not, add one.

Yeah, this happened for a while to me, and it turned out that water was getting in the cable, which screwed up the internets, and the TV
