Hello everyone,
I would like to host a 90 day competition.

By request
I would like to ask the mods to have the official/final vote, but I would also like feedback from everyone who listens. I would also ask that the people who submit audio clips would refrain from spouting out numbers like 2395812359/10 about themselves to look cool.
<NEW>Regarding the moderators: I want each of you to be the head of a certain instrument catagory. Except guitar, I will be heading that one
PM me if you would like to request a certain instrument and we'll see if you beat the other mods to it.

Any genre is acceptable. I'm talking: Blues, Jazz, Rock, Bluegrass, Country, <NEW>Classical, Neo-Classical, Hip Hop or any fusion of styles you can think of.
Rules:
-You must be the one playing! <NEW>(Duets are allowed when it comes to piano)
-Playing a known song is acceptable, but discouraged-- originality is always better
-Singing is allowed, but please, no, "screaming at the top of your lungs" singing
-<NEW>Preferably, I would like everyone to stay away from entering their entire band, because this is suppose to be about you indivisually.
-If you don't have a sample of your own stuff, don't make comments like, "Dude, you call that shiz music?? im soooo much better." because a. You'll get warned b. I will insist that you put up your own stuff that's, "soooo much better" and if you don't, you're subject to public humiliation
-<NEW>No digital music may be entered, ie) Techno
-Try to break the mold-- For guitarists: don't just do the typical mashing of the 16-20(24)th frets at lightning speed, cause it's not that difficult to do <NEW>For any instrument: don't just run through arpeggios, I'd like some actual, creativity.
*-You are encouraged to submit multiple entries.
I know there's got to be people who are just dying to show off, at least a little bit lol.
I'm curious to hear what other people who claim to play an instrument, actually sound like. I have my Purevolume link in my signature and so u can hear how I play guitar, as well as one track with me and Brett (Woodenfire). There's even a, "Welcome Track" for SEN users by yours truly.
I'm really quite enthusiastic about hearing what you people got when it comes to guitar skillz

I STILL wish I had a microphone.
I don't suppose you allow stuff that is done on a computerized synthesizer, even if its just copied stuff from what I can play. (Except I can play it with emphasis, and proper timing.)

do u have garageband or anything? Or, you can midi it and then transfer it to CakeWalk or something, and just put it in what instrument sound u need.
ADDITION:
HolySin, My roommate whos a junior piano performance major said that it was a solid 7/10 and he really liked your, "modulation/borrowed 6th to the borrowed chord" like 3/4s into itif u know what that means, cause i dont lol but he figured for this competition it was really good. I say 8 but hes the kid gettin the degree in piano performance lol, w/e i think it was well done

It sounds much better on the piano I have in the opposite side of the house. The issue with my current keyboard is that it doesn't have weighted keys, skinny keys, and buggy (volume, messes with computer, etc). Yeah, I agree with him on the "7/10" part with this mp3, however, not to seem all self-cenetered or anything, but I would rate myself higher if I was using my other piano because I know I can play on it better and would be able to pull off more things. Hopefully I get a better keyboard on Christmas.

I can play these fairly well. (Maybe not a few because I made them ages ago, but if I remember the notes I could.) But I have since moved on into a much more complex song, that I cant even put onto garageband without having a keyboard or something to take in the changes in speed it has... Which is incredibly lame. (I say I've moved on, but Jazzizance is still being worked on some.)
