Staredit Network

Staredit Network -> StarCraft Editing Related -> Strange problem..

So i got on today and opened extra 2.6 to mess with a map..
it comes up with an Error saying some zerg/special file was missing and i should reinstall starcraft..
I tried it a few times on different modes to see but w/e i clicked base, special or anything like that it would come up with same error.
I went to get a drink and came back and it started working just fine
Anybody know what this problem is? And possibly why it happens?

Could be a corrupt installation or something might have deleted one of your SC files.

Reinstall SC. And check for viruses just to be safe.

Do starforge. scmd and staredit work with the map?

It wasnt a map.

Id open xtra edit, and the menu to select which mode comes up. You can pick like: Basic, Base, Extra, Special

When i click any of those, the error would come up.

I ran a virus scan and nothing came up, i just find it strange that a file was missing one second, and the next it was back?

O alright well do starforge scmd and reg staredit work for you? if so try reinstalling Xtra editor or possibally sc itself

The problem fixed itself. Yes everything else works, just trying to figure out why this error came up to possibly prevent it in the future ..
