Admins and Moderators: I'll accept a no-notice move of this topic to a different category. I always read the manuals and the backside of the game box, always
But sometimes I play it before I read the manual but When I get bored I read the manual, sometimes they are fun and they have an story about the game other times the just show the characters and the controller settings
P.S. I didn't see the last option at the beggining otherwise I would have voted for it I always read the things on the back. I only read the manual if it's a console game (to learn how the controls are) or or if I have nothing else to do when travelling home from where I bought the game (wich I usually do, as there ain't any shops where I live that sell games).
Same. I always read the manual. I find that knowing what the controls are gives me a distinct advantage...
On my way home from buying the game. Most games I own don't come with manuals, though..
Only if I'm renting. I read it on the way home.
At first, i just read how to play. Then play and maybe the next day if im bored ill read it and find out stuff that i didnt know. O and i always read the back of box.

Lol, where do you rent from? Blockbuster doesnt usualy include the manuals for it.
On the way home unless it's a portable game. Then I say freak the manual.
I always end up reading the manual when someone else is playing or when I go to bed.
This probably should be in the polling booth, dunno though.
Anyway onto the poll. I voted for the last one, but my actual answer is Sometimes. Usually I don't find the need to read it, so I don't. If a game is fairly complicated I will though.

Blockbuster puts them there, but people steal them (Why? I have no idea).
It's something I read while on the can.

I used to do that.
Real men play without the manuals.
I've never bought any game CDs in a shop.
Each time I buy a game, I read the manual cause I dont have anything to do while on the way home. Sometimes if its a portable system I play the game and read the manual later. I also read for info on the game and I also read the back of games.
Only if I don't have the technological piece (i.e., Nintendo DS) with me when I buy the game.
