I'm normally a map maker, but I also enjoy the occasional making of mods. This is my first advanced mod (Well I guess is is my first mod at all). It goes by the name of:

Starcraft Power v1.0

This mod will change almost all of the units weapons and some graphics as well, mainly buildings. I've completed Terran, now I'm working on Zerg. I am going to try to have it on the site by February. I'm also going to try to make a couple of maps that can be used in conjunction with SCP. After I've finished this mod, I'm going to try to make a new unit. It's called the Medarchon and it's formed by fusing A High and Dark Temp together. Its purple in colour and will have Maelstrom and Feedback, as well as having the ability to attack.

At the moment, I have no idea how I'm going to make this mod, I'm only 14 and I don't know much. I appreciate it if some expert modders could assist me.

Big tip:Learn iscript. Plain old dat edit mods are boring, and graphics don't really spice it up that much. It will be impossible to fuse together two dark/high templars, just to save you the frustration later.

Wait till the public release of Firegraft comes out, that will help you a lot.

Starcraft power is a kind of boring name. You should call it something more decent.
Also, if you want, I could help you out on this mod. I've been looking for a modding partner for a long time. I know quite much about modding, and I can at leats put together a decent mod. I'm not very good at Iscript though.

If you can help, that would be great. Are you good at graphics? Cos I can't understand Retro GRP well and I don't know how to move grps into an MPQ in WinMPQ without it shutting down.

I can't understand iscript either though

RaiderCraft is much better. I guess I can do graphics, and I'm starting to learn Iscript as I speak.

Tell me how things are going to look, and I will see what I can do.

I nearly forgot, I got a copy of 3DSmax cheap some days ago, so if you give me some time, I will learn to make some good graphics. Since I'm 14 too, it will take some time though.

I do graphics, and can do Iscripting as well as pretty much anything else.

I'm better at building graphics, because most of them only require 1 slide. I've altered the Temp Archives, and most of the Terran buildings.

I need to learn iscript. I've got Ice and IceCC and i don't know how to use those.

My best graphics program is Fireworks 4, I'm still learning how to use it.

Personaly, I don't see anything wrong with 'Starcraft Power' as a name for your mod. It's nice and vague, which would be good assuming your mod follows no particular theme ( e.x. Alien vs. Predator, Zerg/Protoss Hybrids, Confederation vs. Rebels vs. Experiment random-number-here ) .
RaiderCraft, on the other hand, seems a bit obscure ( why is it 'raider'? ) , and randomly tacking the word 'Craft' to the ends of names is deadfuly overused.

As for assistance with the mod itself, I happen to be decently skilled with *.dat and iscript editing ( the latter is limited, though, as I use ICE ) . I can make some very basic sprites, but beyond static weapon sprites and things like cursors, I can't make anything that doesn't look horridly out of place in Starcraft. My strength is in coming up with fun-to-make ideas.
I'm also almost always on AIM/MSN/Y!IM.
