I try to open the map to play, but it crashes once i get in there. it takes me back to desktop and comes up an error. Something like "The information "~~~~~~" referenced memory at "~~~~~". The Memory could not be read. Click OK to terminate the program.

How do you fix this?

PS: the ~~~~~ are some letters and numbers which i couldnt be bothered writing down, tell me if there important and ill tell.

I think you added a unit that crashes BW. Try removing all units and check to see if you still get the error.

What did you do to the map since you last played it? What editor are you using?

It is probably a Unit is hanging off the edge of the map.
Like a building was placed and it's hanging over the boundries.

That's what the problem was when I had that error in my maps.

Here is the map... (Im using SCM Draft 2) and ive only got a few units on the map at the moment.

ADDITION:
Ah, fixed it. It was a building that showed up as a scout or whatever that is. I removed them and it plays. Thanks all!

On the left side there are some buildings very close to the map edge. I think SC has problems with units placed off the map, try removing them temporarily.

Those "Unused Zerg Bldg 5" units cause the crash. You can't use them, so remove them.
