I dont want to hear about spelling or grammar. This work is about far more then being correct. Indeed it is what it disreguards.
At times, it can seem like we know everything.
But even when youve read every book. Youve studied every detail. There is no word that has escaped your eyes. Knowlege itself is the finish of your quest, and you assume it is far behind.
This, is to remind us all, of what we know, but have forgotten, and what we dont know could be bigger than us all, or even what we could begin to fathom.
Never take for granted.
From the experiances that we take with us, to the experiances that define us. Every action we have followed through, and those we decided to let go. For the smallest gestures that meant so much. For the bigest shows of force that meant so little.
This, is t to remind us all of what can be achieved in our actions. What we have already done, and what we shall do. And that we can over come any pre set record if our goal is beyond it.
The smallest movement can be the greatest show of heart.
From the rain that falls, to the earth that moves. For ever volcano that has blown. For every tornado spun. Every hurricane brought down full force. To the boundaries of nature that we understand to the bounds we can only imagine. From the forming of this planet in its chaotic past, to its most subtle moments.
This, is to remind us that everything around us is special. The meanings of each petal of a plant can signify greater beauty then we take the time or ever will take the time to behold. To remind us that in all our technology the simple beautys are what make sight, vision so special.
Take no sight, beautiful or disturbing, ugly or heart warming, for granted.
For those that do not understand the above i tell you this: Live.
It has taken me many moments, life times indeed to comprehend all that i have. And more than that to understand that there is so much i cannot comprehend or behold, understand or otherwise. I feel as though i have lived so many more times then my memory give me credit. I have run with buffalo, I have flown with bird. I have dug with mouse and swam with fish.
I am, in all entirety, the essence of thought.
I do not have time enough to hold what i desire. It is the understanding of that fact that makes me strive harder each day. Although it may seem, that at times the day is dark, the sun is nowhere to be found, and should never return: On those days, think of this. Think of it, and live.
I have written many things. This by far is my favorite, it holds me dear in every word, and i thank it for that.
There are certainly things I agree to what you've written... but even though you didn't want to hear about grammar and spelling, I'm still going to complain about it.
Things not to take for granted: Language is one of the main essential systems of civilization. Perhaps if you're foreign and you're still learning the language, that is fine so long as you don't think, "Oh, this is good enough," but if you grew up in the United States, you better damn well know how to speak and write correctly. Often times I hear people complaining about foreigners and also how they need to learn the English... now that I fully understand English, all I hear are slangs (thanks, MTV) and ridiculous terms to specify a woman's private areas and her behavior.
Now for something relevant to your topic. People, especially adults, are always saying encouraging words such as, "Live" without proper analysis for the person they're telling it to. Things like, "Love your parents now, you never know when they'll be gone."
Obviously that is self explanitory, but all a child's mind can associate is now and later. Now they're alive, later they might die. What about in between and before? They're hardly ever reminded of WHY to love their parents and why their parents love them.
Many TV shows--cartoons, sitcoms, ect--often have a scene where the parents say, "We're your parents, we're suppose to love you." Seriously, what is that? Just because you gave birth to a child means you're SUPPOSE to love it, not because you WANT to love it?
What I'm trying to get at is that you're telling those who "do not understand the above" to live... not much of why they should even bother. Many things are great in life, yes, but not readily available for everyone so some of those words are meaningless, nonexistance, but perhaps maybe even a hope.
You seem to have a very vivid view on the world... keep it up.
oh yeah, does this even belong in the literature section? I personally don't care, I've just wondered if posting those things here were ok.
I personaly consider literature to be something along the lines of; poetry, stories, letters, essays and reports, and there may be other forms that I am not aware of, or I am aware of, but forgot to mention.
I didn't read the whole first post, too long for me to bother reading, I got about 2 paragraphs in and I had no interest in it at all.
For the record I agree with fm47, the whole concept of "love your parents now, because they wont be around forever" is pointless. If my parents have done something to make me not love them, they need to earn it back not just throw out the "I made you" or "I gave birth to you" cards.

If you think that is the concept you are most certainly wrong. It was about life and the things in it, what we expect is there for us and how we should expect nothing. Nothing is given to us, we have to work for it. And we should hold dear what weve worked for, and take pleasure in the simple things that are free. From your posts i can tell that you and fm have missed the point of it entirely.

Above, all you speak of are events that occur in nature... what in that does it help us understand WHY we should take nothing for granted? The only thing even near a suggestion of why we shouldn't take things for granted is the part "petal of a plant can signify greater beauty then we take the time or ever will take the time to behold", but even that is simply saying what I've made an example of in the earlier post.
And, if we did not understand what was above, then perhaps you might want to reconsider your writing (grammar, spelling, ect) because for those who DO use proper grammar as a guideline when they read, it could cause great confusion. Suddenly red lights are go and green lights are caution.
I didn't say that was the concept behind your "speech" but meerly agreed with a statement fm47 made.
