Staredit Network

Staredit Network -> SCMDraft -> A bad trigger perhaps?

Hey there, I'm new to using some of the new editors (as I've just recently re re re re returned to Starcraft) and I found a map with a cool idea, but it was in Korean, and rather plain. so I revamped it, did my best to add English to it, and now it wont play!

It IS open able in normal star edit, and no errors appear

whenever I try to play the map the following error comes up

QUOTE
The instruction at "0x190250be" referenced memory at "0x01e80094". The memory could not be "read".

I have no idea what this means, but this is the only error I have to go by.

My computer is more then powerful enough to run Starcraft so I know that's not the issue.

The map is a normal sized map, no weird dimensions or anything (I did shrink it down, but the copy that is ONLY shrunk down will still play, so that's not the problem)

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Post the map if you want fast results. Personaly ive had this problem but i cant recall the cause.

ive narrowed it down to the bunkers... i slowly started deleting stuff off the map until it would load up... and apparently I did SOMETHING to the bunkers... its not a weird string name because if I leave the name default it doesnt fix it...

...

Apparently for some reason the bunker stats/build time/etc was ALL defaulted to 0... i put in numbers and it works biggrin.gif guess i solved my own problem :-/

so now the question is, why did it set my bunkers to have 0 stats across the board...

I would rather ask why those 0-stats caused that error. SC crashing, yes, but invalid memory address?
