I was just wondering if anyone has any information if there will ever be another Diablo 3? Personaly I got very addicted to Diablo 2/Diablo 2 LoD and was just wondering if maybe there will be a Diablo 3?

Last I heard there had been recording of music for the sequel Diablo III, but that wasn't directly from Blizzard, so that source could be unreliable.

Oh, so Blizzard hasn't really declared a Diablo III yet then. Well I was browsing around the internet today and found this Diablo III website. Im pretty sure it's a fan site but maybe there will be some useful information in the future but if anyone knows anything on Diablo III please post.

Meh, if you want a Diablo 3 just play one of the hundreds of clones. Theres even online ones (Dungeon Runners - which is free). SC2 is next.

Theres gonna be 3 new games that will be announced this year from Blizzard. Wait for those announcements.

WarCraft 4 I think would be the last game they'd make. SC2 And D3 is next. WarCraft 4 would be last because Arthus (however you spell his name) takes over the freaking world. What else is there left? No army could stop him, he's too powerful.

It seems unlikely that Blizzard would abandon such a successful franchise. Given their latest few games, it also seems unlikely that they would fail to screw it up. However, so long as Blizzard's websites remain empty of Diablo III news, nothing official has been said.

Blizzard said they are going to announce one game in 2007 and are working on 3 other unannounced games.
1 will be announced in 2007.
4 unannounced games are being worked on.

On wikipedia on the SC post, it stated that blizzard was recruiting someone that was good at starcraft for "Balencing".
Turns out they made marines for SC2 too strong and needed a new guy :D

I was thinking the same thing, also I am going to be really upset if I have to pay for game time. I don't play WoW because it's the same quests over and over and over they just have higher levels and different terrain...If there is a D3 I hope its just like Diablo2/LoD/Diablo1...

I personally think canceling Starcraft: Ghost was but, thats opinion. If there is a Diablo III in the works, dont expect it soon. With Blizzards track records of re-re-re announcing games, setting dates back months, you might be waiting a hella-long time, so dont hold your breath.

I disagree. From what I could tell, StarCraft Ghost is not shaping up to be any more than a halfway decent shooter and a blight on StarCraft's good name. I'd actually be glad if they officially canceled StarCraft Ghost.

Starcraft ghost didn't seem like an exciting game. the only ppl that probly bought the game were ppl that played sc. Diablo 3? I didn't know that they were making a new one..

Neither does anyone else. Blizzard has not said anything official, so for all practical purposes we just plain don't know if they're making it or not.
