This is a topic, where you post suggestions for mods for the public to use. If you want, feel free to post idea's for SCMLoader maps, but only those.

Super mario 64 mod - A SCMLoader map. You start out with an SCV (Mario) and you have a button that lets you jump, to make it more realistic. You manuever(sp?) around a map, whereas you can enter the castle, and jump into paintings. When you do so, your unit teleports to that level. We prolly won't be able to fit as many levels as there are, but we can atleast make one, right?

Scatman mod - This is the simplest one. Make it so when you have a marine, and you press the Scatman button it has, the music Scatmans World comes on, and the marines portrait starts talking, until you press it again, and it goes back to normal game. Note: All people must hear music if running mod, otherwise only the person who pressed the button can hear it if everyone can hear can not be achieved.

Falling sand mod - Every unit is a type of particle. A marine is a particle (pixel) of sand, and a firebat is a pixel of oil, etc etc, and they build instantly, and their size is 1 pixel wide. and they always move downwards. Idea from http://www.fallingsandgame.com

Actually I think the only even remotely doable one is the scatman idea. But lol, very interesting. I think I have a few:

Multi turreted units: As far as I know, the 2nd subunit is functional, and it is possibile (via arsenal zero) to set a 3rd subunit. The result: PWNAGE battlecruiser wink.gif

Mother F-ing F-ed Up Craft (In Progress): Everything gets changed. I'm talking graphics, portraits, stats, text, etc. Only thing is there's a few file types (.grp, .smk, etc.) that I want to edit but can't do so on a Mac...

The "Subunit 3" property in AZero is mislabeled. It is the "infestation" property in DatEdit, which is the unit that a building becomes after infestation.

Here's an idea I wanted to do, but I've got other things going on. I hope someone can make a suitably funny version:

SatireCraft: Everything is making fun of something in the real world, or online, or whatever. Even better, make each race have a coherent theme. Just do the .tbl, .dats, and iscripts if you want. And if you do this, having Battlecruiser with the Yo Mama Cannon special ability is absolutely necessary tongue.gif

Thinking of, and then creating, the triggers for such a thing as that would simply be ludicrous. Why not just play the Java version...? tongue.gif

A race in a mod in which every ( or almost every ) unit that can be built is tech'd up from the peon -- to give an example in Zerg terms, one could morph a Drone into a Zergling, which could then morph into an Ultralisk or Hydralisk, and the Hydralisk can morph into a Defiler or a Mutalisk, and the Defiler can morph into a Lurker, and the Mutalisk can morph into two Scourge or a Guardian or a Devourer, and...

now that is a really good idea! i bet i could build off of that! i can make it so you start out with a certain unit, and 5 minerals. That unit can morph into a worker of your choice for those 5 minerals, and you can start mining some minerals for the next morph, and you can continue going until you have satisfaction for the unit you have. you can also build a 1 hp instant building with your worker, and get more workers to get minerals and morph. you will only get 1 mineral per gather, and the mineral patches keep decreasing by 3 each time, to make it hard to get a big army tongue.gif
