I've seen a map where certain units had their usual green frame (near the unit stats) with a whole bunch of colors, including orange. Or all black. And glowing. Nice effect, I'm interested in using it ... how can I ? smile.gif
Hope I was clear enough.

Download a program called "Starforge"
Go to unit settings
Where the unit life is, there is a small box on the left of it, insert a value that is greater than the value in the original life box, so you get something like 3/1 or 160/60. The frame around the unit will now be a color, usually random depending on the race, try different combinations for different colors and other effects: i.e. glowing.

Idk what the health stats would be for that..I know the blue frame though biggrin.gif that would be a health of 3/2 using starforge

Go to unit settings (SCMD2); you will see a small box right from a unit's HP that contains a 0. Change it to 1. SCMD2 can make a unit's current HP higher than it's max only by 1, if memory serves.

Or you can change the unit's normal health to something lower than default then place a unit sprite. It's health will be <default/map setting> and you can get a ton of colors that way.

What are unit sprites ? What's the difference between sprites and unit sprites ?

EDIT: The difference is obvious ... but is there any difference between units and unit sprites ?

Also, can sprites only be preplaced ? Because the spell ones are so cool yet they die short after the map begins >>.
