Ok first let me say that this is the second map I have tried to make terrain on. The first was pretty bad and I think this one turned out much better. My only problem with it, is that I need some suggestions on how to make the walls (or anything else for that matter) look better. Here are some screens for your viewing pleasure:

One of my personal biggest problems at the moment is the front facing wall. Especially where I had to stack it. :/ Any assistance anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated. helpsmilie.gif

My problem is that the pictures are too small.

The third one won't work but here are the first two.

Hmmm, the terrain doesn't seem to blend, but I guess it would be functional for the kind of map your trying to do, even if it doesn't look natural.

I know it doesn't blend. That's why I posted it here. O_o I am not a "pro" map maker and I was trying to search for maybe some suggestions on how to "blend" or just make the map look better overall.

Well it looks like ever other LOTR map on bnet if thats what you were shooting for.

Well, you could start making isometric terrain instead of square.

Work on your blending and use some ISOM.

Try to get at least 2 different tiles on parts where you just reuse the same tile over and over, that way it blends more instead of just going onto the same tile again.

*Centreri throws up*
It's miserable terrain. It doesn't blend at all, and many of the things you're apparently having trouble with even I, who only tried like twice, could do. Use ISOM for the roads, you don't need anything except that. PLEASE make it blend. I'm not calling it terrain until more then half of the tiles blend.

Picture 1
Terrible. You either need to look for different tiles that match the above terrain or its
gonna work...
Picture 2
The blending is a lot better and it looks much better than the first but since your not
really shooting for 'pro' terrain, than thats fine for a LOTR map.
