You and up to three other allies battle tornadoes that are destroying your city. Using defilers and corsairs later in the game cast darkswarm/disruption web to damage a tornado. Tornadoes take more than one hit to kill, and they can get bigger or smaller. The city will consist of buildings that can collapse, trees that can catch on fire, units that can get hit by debri and die, units that can get sucked into the tornado and get launched out of it into something else, and some other things that are a surprise. City hasn't been fully constructed, but it's basically going to be trees which can catch on fire, units that can get sucked into the tornadoes and travel with them, units that get hit by debri and die, vehicles, buildings that can collapse, ETC.

Tornadoes are not going to be a "unit" they are going to be moving locations with recall.

As tornadoes grow in strength they will have the ability to be more destructive.

Ok, thanks for that. Good luck with the map. I'll probably keep an eye on it.

Anything with flying pieces of debris that acts like grenade shrapnel is okay by me.
Can the tornado be controlled by a player? I'd rather destroy than protect.

Possibly another map, but in this one you're going to be protecting the town, not destroying it. It's going to be kind of like Katamari, but all the stuff it picks up gets shot back out.

Cast dark swarm/disruption web multiple times to weaken it enough to die.

Sounds good. A friend of mine made a similar map for WC3 (he never released it though, he stopped working on it while it was still in beta.) It was an awesome map and it seems like this one will be just as good.

I'm not going to use ANYTHING for the tornadoes, they are just going to be moving locations that have recall being spammed at that location.

Sounds way too much like tux's firefighter map to be deemed original.

I dont have much information on this map yet but i know it would come directly to town. Did you even play firefighters? You put out fire and buildings are in one spot. This has nothing close to firefighters except maybe the shooting concept, but then again fire fighter's shooting concept was different. Junk yard = random movement. We are doing direct movement to towns.

1. In firefighters you battle fires destroying the city.
2. You get a corsair "later in the game" that shoots the fires out.
3. The fires can also get bigger.
4. Buildings also collapse in firefighters, you can also get burnt inside of buildings which would counter your flying debris, trees also catch fire in firefighters.

It is actually a lot like firefighters.
