Staredit Network -> Miscellaneous -> Diablo II installation question

Alright, well recently I bought Diablo II again because my last D2 cds were pretty damage. Now, I don't recall experiencing this error when I first installed it, a while back, but when I'm about done with the installation with D2 LoD it just freezes or stops at this xreadme.htm. There is about 1 more block to go and the installation is finished but it either freezes or just stops. I was wondering if anyone has ever experienced this and maybe solved it out. The help would be greatly appreciated.

Possible Problems:
Not enough disk space
Disk needs to be cleaned (Unlikely if you bought new disks)
Other tasks going on take up enough memory/CPU to stop the process

Solutions:
Delete some files
Make an ISO (You already bought and own the disks so i dont know if its still illegal)
Dont let the comp be doing anything else while its installing.

Let me know if problems persist.

My sc cd is scratched to all hell... so I just use an .iso. Virtual cds = no scratches = perfect loads. I'm like 99% sure it's legal if you have the cd (RIAA, I think, recently attempted to change things like this (you have to have a license for each media device type)).

When it froze, how long did you give it before shutting it down?

I left the thing over night and woke up this morning and it was still at xreadme.htm. I'll try deleting some disc space and maybe try it out a few more times.

Try MagicISO or PowerISO
Create an image of the CD(s), then either burn the ISO as a CD(using imgburn), or use Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% or PowerISO to mount the image as a virtual drive.
