I watch the Japanese versions on youtube. I am currently on episode 181.
If you dont watch it then just search on youtube "Naruto episode 1" and watch from there!

I watched it for a while, but I stopped midway through.
It goes downhill after the first season.
I don't get how anyone can stand the english version.

Bleach is better for now because of the endless fillers in Naruto, which Bleach seems to have adopted

I watch it. Albeit the huge amounts of filler and odd translations, it's somehow still appealing to watch. I do have to agree that Bleach and DBZ are much better than it though.

Wait till you get just a little bit older. Any tolerance you have for filler will evaporate pretty quickly. I liked DBZ a lot when I was 15/16, but now I can't stand to watch the show. The voice acting and the filler are too excruciating. From the sounds of it, Naruto wouldn't be any better. However, I still like the Dragonball manga. Toriyama really is a good manga writer. ;p

Naruto itself is good, only their fillers suck ass.
I started reading the manga and i think it's pretty good.
But yes, i absolutely hate the english ver of naruto. Naruto's voice sounds so... annoying.

Wrong. Even if it's they're heavily censored and Americanified, Ninjas > pirates. Read the manga. Much more swearing, much more blood, much more awesome. And it's 100% filler-free. And waaaaaaay further than the anime. And the original story.

Why do male kids or lighter voice comes from female voice actors? It just seems akward.

Because they can keep that little boy voice for decades (think Bart Simpson, who is played by a middle aged woman). A real boy voice actor would grow up in a few short years.

I think it has more to do with the fact that the last 10 posts in this topic were 90% or more useless.
