Storyline / Introduction


Every Player starts with one unit of each ingame used type and have to choose one of them. than he has to protect his own line from Enemy Units. if at least 1 unit reach the end, the whole game ist Lost!

the old HGM was really popular even after years... so if i only would rebuild it 1:1 it would not flop...

and like i said, i will try to get a bit more ideas into it, perhaps some additions in the terrain, or new units, secrets and functions. im thinkin bout heros but i started yesterday with the terrain so what beside the year will be new, i only can say if the progress gets near ~50%

so just w8 a lil bit and then we will see smile.gif

I absolutely loved HGMA Defense. I loved it down to it secrets and riggs which made it possible to beat. I loved that map because i had fun and played it with friends. It was a great experiance.

I believe if done right this ressurection will do the map great justice. If you need any terrain/idea help, let me know. Only thing i cant help with is triggs unfortunately.

Love HGMA, beaten it soo many countless times that I think I know everything about the game. If you need me to test or over look the map, just tell me. It was one of the best defences ever made. (But archons were bit cheap, they were the sole unit that can beat the game)

Thx a lot.

in this case i thought i post a small _Beta_ of my current Progress!

it have the first 11 Levels, u can buy your units (H G M A) with civillians u get for kills, u can upgrade.

so if anyone want to have a look, play it in singleplayer with mineral cheat or whatever^^

then tell me some things , what you would like to see in that game!

ah and i forgot, the Defeat trigger is not working right now^^

Hello Everyone, i got a Problem.... could anyone help me out? i hope so!

im nearly Finished right now, triggers working, terrain is perfect - but one big problem... after lvl 3 the map limit come. i dont know how to set it up or else!! if the game is full, the whole spawns stop creating units after lvl 3 cuz of map limit!

in Starforge is in options a entry: Max unit and i put that to 5000 but it dont works!!

and i need help with ban triggers. how to make that the ban field from (player) needs 2 banner to ban him??

can anyone help me here? its narly finished and i wanna release it asap!

MapMax? I can only ask one question, is anything happening such as using units to keep track of levels, are the players getting a ridiculous amount of units? Or does the level itself have numerous units. Or are you keeping all the units around somehow?

mmm either the 'runners' are coming too quickly or the players are getting too many units or the players aren't killing the runners

the thing is, that i nearly copied the technic from the Original HGM, to make it near as possible to the original ...

so i cant explain what happened there... the units getting killed, the players dont recive too many units... if this Max Unit setting is really for Max units, then im paralized, cuz there are never over 5000 units on that map!

i could post it here, so anyone could have a look at the map...

funny, ripping a map, changing the name of creator and recompiling.. .how easy, i rebuilded it totally.. .and ur map is buggy... just w8 until mine is 100%

Heh, fine put yours out. I have a finished one that is 100% complete... I just wanted to get one out there fast so people could enjoy it while I finished it. I left the guys name in there because he was the one that made the first one. I give him full credit. I tried emailing him so he could actually post the uncorrupted version so that people could play on b.net.

However since he never responded I thought I would make the map, and so far it's doing pretty well. No complaints on my part. What? The Super BC does 25 dmg... no one buys the damn thing anyways.

hey im talkin from - ripped - and that is no work! everyone can rip a map, and then he can tell "uhh i maded this map" even if it is a try, to remake the old HGMA - its the wrong way, because u just ripped it. nothing is builded urself, thats sure at the first look - same with the triggers, u just changed the names to yours...
ahh whatever i dont have time to discussing with someone like u, so try to bring up ur "100% version" and we will see ...
