Okay, I know map revealers are invisable and all, but I was wondering what you can do to them using triggers. Can you create them? Remove them? move them? Anything you got that is useful would me appreciated.
yes you can create them via triggers, no you can't remove them =(, and i'm pretty sure you can't move them, but you might want to make a test
What are you planning on using this for? If you want to remove the map revealers, it's not possible (I think) Instead, create invisible units that belong to a computer that has allied vision with you. If you don't want to look at the location anymore, then just remove the unit.
Actually, map revealers can be removed only by removing all of them owned by all players at the same time (It's also stated in StarEdit's help file).

I've only tried to remove one. I should know better than to not look in SEN tutorials or help files.
You can indeed create map revealers during the game. I'm not sure if you can remove them, but I happen to know you can detect them, as I made use of this in my Gods map and it worked.
SomeIdiotNerd, be sure to say you are unsure of something if you are.
You can create map revealers through trigger, and can remove them with the Remove Unit trigger. You can remove them for any player using this trigger, but not the Remove Unit at Location. Originally, you could never remove them, but blizzard later added the usage of it with Remove Unit.
I don't know about move or detect, but I doubt it... maybe command, but I doubt bring.
Well this could be pretty handy, like when giving vision to follow something, you can create a unit that doesn't ever show up, unlike invisable units and they can't be unplaceable(I think?)
That would work, falk, as long as you know that you have to remove all that player's map revealers in order to remove one. Also, map revealers don't take up space; for the same reason they cannot act or be detected in locations, they will not get unplacable messages.

Like I said, command works, I know that for a fact because I used it.
