Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> giving Larva movement orders

I want to be able to move around larva with the order trigger. I've seen this in some maps, but i'm not able to do it.

I have a few hives in the top-right corner of my map. I can move the larva from the hives to another spot on my map using the move trigger, but when i do this the larva crawls back towards the hives.
Surprisingly enough the larva at the hives also crawl to 1 spot next to their hives (they don't randomly crawl beneath their hives anymore).

I've tried to use the order command but the larva don't listen to it.

So i actually want to know 2 things.

1. Is it possible to give the larva movement orders?
2. why do all the larva try to crawl back to their hives?

If a comp owns the larva try these ai scripts

Set Generic command target(where you want them to go)
Make these units patrol(Where the larva are)
Preserve

Should be used wit hypers

Larva naturally crawl back to their hives. Their movement is random, so it was made for them to just crawl back to the hive when they got too far away.

To control them, just use what koltz said, and they won't do their random/back to hive movement.

What if a human player controls the larva? Is it possible to control them? When i kill/move the hive where the larva originally comes from, the larva start to crawl randomly. Is it possible to remove this random crawling and let the larva stay where they are (without moving around)?

I want them to be killable by other players. The problem here is that when i use the move trigger to move them to the same spot over and over again, it's hard to kill them (i think the attack command is reset when the larva is moved to the same spot).

Exactly. in a map i am making that bug happened. i used that trigger to force aplayer to stay on a location. he was not able to attack anymore and the ennemies were not able to attack him. I think its because the bullets dont got time to reach it and it does not have time to accomplish order between the move triggers. so players wont be able to attack it whitout mass clicking on it...

Pre-placed larva are best for randomly moving around in a location. Or, if you have room, you could try creating and removing hives.

Here's an idea, move your hatcheries around so that the larva move to their hatchery.

Interesting idea, would larvae go to their hive if it is still alive but moved? you could simply move the hive whichever direction you want the larvae to go.

That's exactly what I just said.

Yes, but I am questioning this, since I'm pretty sure that once a hatchery has been killed, moved, or removed the larvae stop going to it.
