Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> Brush Palette Vs The Side Thing

I'm not sure how to phrase that second choice, so I tried my best...

Anyway, out of curiousity, which do you use? The brush palette or the side menu? I use the palette.

Sorry if I put this in the wrong forum; this was the one that it seemed to fit best under.

I change the size of the pallet so that is one box thick and I prop it where the map and the side bar meet. And use that for terrain. When im done with terrain, I close it.

Under-menu all the way :nasty:

I just find it easier than using the brush pallet.

I also use the undermenu

I never accually thought of that...

I use a bit of both. Depending on the situation. When I'm placing one terran type and making mistakes. IE, Placing land and messing up, I select water again with the palette. If I'm switching Terran types, then I use the tree, because I always screw up on the difference between higher and lower land wacko.gif

hmm... actually i use Starforge for terrain... You can add any tile ever possible... including the 'zerg creep' and the 'null' tiles. You can also place terrain from 'doodads' in that tileset. You can change the size of the terrain you place too.
And since Starforge is a beta, all options aren't done yet... but there's gonna be 'online modding' in there... like.. The map will load with the custom sprites you put in there, custom portraits, sounds, spells, terrain, units, etc.

So that would be the Side Menu then wouldn't it...
I use both heavily, the unit selection with the Brush is quite useful!
