This is kinda a continuation of the prior thread, only broadened to included all aspects of it, and just random chat about it (which was what the old thread was).
So I just discovered that druids bear forms get 450% armor from items now! With my crappy gear, I'm at 51.02% reduc in bearform, nonferal. Kickass!

My Druid with crappy feral gear(random blues) has 7700 armor, my warrior with the best defense gear up to ZG (386) and +10% to armor has 8100 armor.
I believe that 450% is overpowered, how can a warrior hybrid fury/prot with everything out of ZG, few MC pieces and such have only a few hundred armor over a restoration druid with 4/8 Shadowcraft and random blues seen dropped along the way?

[sub]I'm not playing much WoW anymore. I pretty much retired my 60 rogue, because I just hated the class more and more since I hit 60, and when the pvp patch came out and my guild wanted to just pvp till BC, I just stopped logging on.
I had a spot with a premade that rerolled about a week and a half ago. Made an alliance hunter, leveled it to about 18 in the first 2 days or so, haven't touched it since. I'm sure my spot in the guild won't be there for long.
I think now I'm going to go back to Alter of Storms horde side come BC and roll a Blood Elf hunter and let me 60 rogue support it.
Yeah, discuss what Valug should do.[/sub]

I'm out of pre-paid game time at the moment, BC is going to be released tomorrow in Sweden and I am having a day off, so it's perfect for me to just get to the mall and buy it and play the whole day.

I don't knowing anything about non-pure-spellcaster-classes, but can't a bear with 450% armor either match or beat up the armor of a real warrior?

A Feral Druid or any geared Druid can easily surpass the armor of a Warrior.

Equally typed equipped, druids should out armor warriors, but warriors get extra evasive and threat moves such as parry or sunder armor (which is way more effective than faerie fire).
I'm quest/grinding my druid up to at least 60 really soon. It's currently at 49 with about 55% exp. I dinged earlier today and I hope to get it to 50 today as well. I can't wait for treant summons! They're gonna own spellcasting gankers.

Yeah, I'm tearing through Outland with my priest buddy. Just the two of us and we took out every single quest in Hellfire Peninsula; including elite quests that required 3+ people to take.
I'm just loving my warrior more and more, I may level him to 70 before my Druid, which hasn't even stepped through the portal once.

I got to 51 the other day, got the treants and wow they're awesome. They can solo a warlock of the same level. (and by solo, I mean all three of them)
