Ive edited a Command Center with paint, Retro GRP, and Irfan View but when I play there isnt a big building there are 3 small buildings instead, about the size of a marine. How do i get my one big building?

Did you edit any DAT files, or just replaced the Command Center's GRP?

Well I changed the Name in TBL but nothing else. Unless changing the hitpoints does anything to it.

When I edited the marine grp I got the same thing. Are all the Command Centers discoloured? I think the problem I had was that I didn't use the Starcraft palette. I don't know if this is the same issue you're having.

The first reason why of ur trouble is
the BMP's for RetroGRP uses RLE(Run-length encoding) encode
if u save as different format form sources u'd see that three separated picture
instead of perpect one

infact, Starcraft palette is doesnt matter to that trouble

if u wanna save with RLE , look arnd save options of save BMP dialog in ur use editors

but StarDraft SE's GRP Converter and ShadowFlare's GRP convertor
are uses normal 256-color bmp's

try use one in both of other tools if ur use editer dont have option which save with RLE

u'd see as correct picture after compile with that solutions

If what nirvanajung said is true about the pallete then no worries there, but I didnt use Starcrafts pallete.

I dont understand the other things, all I did was what the tutorial said, I used paint too, so does paint matter?

And also, When i tried to build the bunker, SC crashed. All i did was switch colors on Irfan view. "RGB>BRG"

i'm saying true,
just consider that change BMP format with RLE(Run-length encoding) encode
when u have compile through Retro then u can see rightly through there

and as for ur swithing colours,
make sure image mode is "256 indexed" to compile for grp

basicly the palette is apply to rendering colours of pixels
if u have made with 256 bmp then SC doesnt crashed in all most

It has been 256 colors all along.

Though no conclusive causes could be pinpointed,
probably causes of crashed is not to paint and palettes

and as for that three separated picture,
just save BMP by RLE(Run-length encoding) encode
then that will solved its true
if wanna see other thread which case as like u

You told him to use Photoshop and I dont have photoshop. So no help there.

[EDIT]Ok I fixed it, I had to go get GIMP from the internet cuz i cant afford photoshop.

But with it appears a new problem, Its not using the colors i wanted, its changing it back to the normal when its supposed to be blue.
