Apparently, the admins didn't think my thread about an SEN team was newsworthy. A real shame, considering all the good it is capable of doing. Oh well, team #: 53478
I honestly think that it should be a news post. I think it's more important than most of the honest to goodness crap that goes on there.
Personally I think it's a good idea but that's only because I'm already a participant in the project (independent, no teams).
I didn't see how that other topic was important enough to be news at a Starcraft website. This is no more worthy (IMO) of having a news topic (minor news, even) than the Cyber Nations SEN alliance topic. It's nice that we SEN members can congrugate at places other than this website, but if it isn't Starcraft or Staredit.net (this website, alone) community related, I don't think it needs to be news. That's why I moved the other one.
Of course, I'd like to know what the admins think.
It has nothing to do with Starcraft I'm afraid.
I moved it to Updates and Contests section because it didn't fit on the front page and the description of said forum is:
QUOTE
News, tournaments, and various other updates that don't need to go on the front page.
So I felt it belonged there. Apparently some people disagree with me but I think we can all agree its not front page material mostly because its not SC related.
I could've been wrong. I'd like to see what the admins would say about it. The guidlines for the new forum aren't too cleanly cut.
I'd say Updates & Contests at best, not Portal News.
So do you want the original topic moved back?
