I haven't tested it out, but I was just curious as to what everybody else here thought.

Would it be possible to stop a sound that is playing by playing tons of other sounds?

No, sir. The sounds will stack together and all play at the same time.

The only way to stop a long length of sound is to fake its length by breaking it into short lengths of sound that can be linked together to play the long sound or stopped in between one piece and the next.

That's what I already do.

Ok then, thanks. The only reason why I was asking was if you hit play tons of times in the sound editor thing in the normal starcraft editor, the first sound stops.
