I am working on a map, and I can't start it to do tests. The problem I run into is that I can load it to play, but the only characters available are player 1. I have all 8 players in the game with start locations and units. Player 8 is comp and set on a seperate force. I have no triggers set up yet, but I don't think that will effect being able to add player slots. So I guess I need help on how to make player slots. Thx.
At the top near file and edit, click scenario and then player settings. Set players 1-7 to human.
I'm pretty sure that's right, but I don't have SCMDraft open to tell me exactly what everything is called.
Players 1-7 are set a Human for Owner nd player 8 is set asComputer for Owner. I also have player 12 as neutral. With player 12 units in game. Can this be the problem?

I took out player 12 and I was able to play the map. So are maps 9-12 unable to be used?

Play the map in multi player mode (you cannot change player slots in single player mode).
Separate human players and computer players into different forces.
Every player must have a start location and must be set to either Human or computer to appear as a player slot in the game lobby.
P9-12 do not work properly in the game lobby.
If you are still having problems and can't fix them, upload the map.
I've added the map. I can not get any player slots for players 2-6 or player 8 who is neutral.

You need to change them to Humans. I opened up the map in Starforge and they're all currently set as "Not Used".
Alright, I've made the changes. But I can't get player 8 to show up as computer or neutral as a 3rd force.
P8 won't show up in the Forces screen if you set it as Neutral. It should work if you set it to Computer.
Fixed the problem. During the Course of changing the players around so there wasn't a player 12. The player 8 start location was deleted and now is fixed. And player 8 is working fine as neutral. Thx for the help guys.
